TR Do you think Jesus is going to call us home by our earthly names? Some of us have popular names so I wonder how that is going to work, especially when He calls those common names that the unsaved have too. But then I think of this passage John 10:27-28 - My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. Or do you think He is going to call us by our new names and we will automatically know them at that time? Also will all of us have different unique names and nobody will have same up in heaven - just like He does for the stars .... Psalm 147:3 He counts the stars and calls them all by name. :unsure: I don't know that He will necessarily call us by name. We won't know our new names until He gives them to us so I doubt that He will be using our new names to call us home. Frankly, I don't care what He calls me as long as He calls me home! :yes: I agree with the old guy! Our present given names for sure. Ha don't been given a white stone with the name!
