Something isn't passing the smell test here......there never was a "country" of Palestine, no government, no boundaries, no leaders, no coin, no language. The Romans chose the name of the area after the temple was destroyed in 70 AD and the Jews were scattered. The Jews don't "claim" ancestral ties to that area.....they HAVE ties to the area as given by the Lord. Israel's borders have been determined by the Lord, the land in Israel today is literally covered with archeological evidence of the kingdom of David, the temple mount and so much more. Slavs, and among them Russians – are the most unbending people in the world.
