Late yesterday Ukrainian forces severely damaged the Russian Missile Cruiser Moskva off the coast of Odessa.

Ukraine fired two of its brand new Neptune anti-ship cruise missiles and scored direct hits with both of them, and resulting in secondary detonations of the Moskva's own ordnance. The surviving crew was evacuated, the ship totally disabled, dead in the water.

These missiles are a Ukrainian 7-year long reverse-engineering project version of the Russian Kh-35 anti-ship cruise missile known also by the NATO Name AS-20 Kayak.

Oh Great – Now We Have A “Hot War” With Russia And We Are Being Warned That “World War Three Can Only Be Nuclear”:

We are watching a slow-motion horror show unfold right in front of our eyes, and nobody seems to have a way to stop it.  The vast majority of the global population did not want World War III to happen, but it has started anyway.  For years I have been warning that such a conflict would erupt if we did not change course, and now here we are.  I am very angry at Vladimir Putin for launching a full-blown invasion of Ukraine, because he didn’t need to do that. . . . I blame both sides for the war, because in my opinion it could have been avoided so easily.

On Thursday the head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), Sergei Naryshkin, issued a series of bombshell statements which may reveal Moscow’s broader aims in the war concerning how Russia sees its ultimate security aims. Naryshkin said that “for us, this is no longer a Cold War with the West but a hot war,” according to Interfax.

In fact, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov just brought up the specter of nuclear war during a rant in which he directly compared the United States to Nazi Germany… “It is clear that World War Three can only be nuclear.”

Ukrainian Battalion Accuses Russia of Using Chemical Weapons on Civilians:

A Ukrainian battalion said Monday that Russia has used chemical weapons against Ukraine's military and citizens, causing victims to develop respiratory failure and other illnesses.

The Azoz Regiment, a unit of the National Guard of Ukraine, said the chemicals were of an "unknown origin" and dropped via an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on civilians in the southeastern city of Mariupol.

NATO has warned that the use of chemical weapons could prompt further action from the West. Late last month, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said that using chemical weapons is a "blatant violation of international law with far-reaching consequences."

President Joe Biden previously said that such an act could be grounds to trigger an intense reaction from the U.S., though he stopped short of saying what that might be.

I was watching a broadcast of the "The Watchman" series and they say that it's just a matter of time before Russian, Iran, Turkey and other nations go after and surround Israel. Russia wants  Israel's natural gas as plunder. (Ez 38,39)   Israel could not stand up to all these countries, but God will come and destroy them. This could all happen sooner than we think, but we should be raptured by then.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson held in-person discussions with Zelenskyy where he committed to providing Ukraine with military supplies:

The United Kingdom is going to send more than one hundred armored vehicles and new anti-ship missile systems to Ukraine as the Russian invasion drags on.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the arrangement on Saturday during an in-person visit with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.  Zelenskyy and Johnson engaged in diplomatic discussions in Ukraine’s capital city of Kyiv.

On Saturday, both Johnson and his Austrian counterpart, Chancellor Karl Nehammer, made in-person visits to Zelenskyy. The two leaders are the latest in a list of political figures who have made in-person visits to Ukraine in the midst of the ongoing Russian invasion.

On his Twitter account, Johnson said, “The Ukrainians have the courage of a lion. President [Zelenskyy] has given the roar of that lion. The UK stands unwaveringly with the people of Ukraine.”
