Jailbreak: Zelensky Says Ukraine to Free Inmates with ‘Combat Experience’:

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Monday that his country would free any convicted criminals “with real combat experience” to fight the ongoing full-scale invasion by Russia.

Putin made the choice to launch a full-scale invasion of Ukraine . . . . Zelensky’s administration reacted to the invasion by immediately legalizing civilian open carry of firearms and distributing thousands of guns, automatic rifles, and other firearms. As of Friday, Ukrainian officials claimed they had distributed 18,000 firearms to civilians. The Zelensky government has also encouraged civilians to amass Molotov cocktails in their homes to throw at Russian “invaders” and posted instructions for how to make them online.

On Monday, Zelensky announced in a national address that he had given the order to free Ukrainian prisoners “with real combat experience” and send them to fight in the “hottest” theaters of war.

“We dedicate every minute to the struggle for our state. Everyone who can join the struggle against the invaders must do so,” Zelensky said. “Therefore, the decision was made, not simply from a moral point of view, but useful in terms of our protection. Ukrainians with real combat experience will be released from custody and will be able to compensate for their guilt in the hottest spots.”

Per Sean Osborne - Eschatology Today

March 1, 2022

Russia has threatened "catastrophic consequences" (nuclear weapons) will be the buden of citizens of the EU and their countries who are providing war materiel to Ukraine and thus are interfering in the Russian military operation.

These consequences will occur without warning while the operation continues.

In effect, Russia has declared war on the EU and therefore on all of NATO.

—————

I am one who has always advocated for preparedness. If you're family is not currently prepared for a worst case scenario, then it's urgent that you get prepared ASAP.

I'm also not one to cry "fire" in a crowded theater, but... there are strong I&W that Putin is not well, not right at all, in a Hitlerian bunker mentality. He has sacked generals who opposed his war plans. He believes that if he doesn't control things, no one else will either. There's talk of tactical nuke use, even preemptive tactical nuclear via sub-launched Kaliber cruise missiles against the US east coast. There's no corroboration for this, it's intel grapevine chatter. So, it's passed on FWIW, and better than saying nothing.

Marana'tha!

——————

Also, Putin's issues were noticed after his brief Olympics visit with Xi in China a month ago. His facial appearance has changed big-time. His face is bloated, his eyes glassed over. Meds? All indications are not good at all. Gog is very sick

Pentagon official says Russian troops have 'deliberately punched holes' in their own gas tanks 'presumably' to avoid combat as morale declines: report

Business Insider

By Katie Balevic    March 1, 2022

Some Russian troops are intentionally punching holes in their gas tanks, a Pentagon official said, per The New York Times.  The official said that many of the Russian troops are young and inexperienced, per the Times.  Some Russian troops are surrendering to Ukrainian forces as morale drops, Insider previously reported.  Some Russian troops have "deliberately punched holes in their vehicles' gas tanks" as morale among the Russians declines, a senior US official said.

The troops appear to be self-sabotaging in order to avoid combat, the unnamed senior Pentagon official said, per The New York Times. The official added that many of the Russian troops are young and inexperienced in combat, and they are facing dwindling food and fuel resources.

Tuesday marks day six of Russian President Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine, prompting protests across the world, including in Russia. Explosions have rocked the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv, as well as Ukraine's second-biggest city, Kharkiv, since Russia invaded the region.

As morale drops, some of the Russian troops have surrendered to Ukrainian forces "without a fight," a US senior defense official told reporters in a briefing on Tuesday.

The US official said that there has been evidence "of a certain risk averse behavior by the Russian military," since Russia launched its assault on Ukraine, CNN reported.

In response to Russia's assault, western nations have since levied heavy sanctions and other restrictive financial measures against the country, a move that Putin claimed was unlawful.

'We Need More Bibles':

The thirst for hope and the spread of uncertainty have been so rampant in Ukraine that at least one Christian store has totally run out of Bibles.
Robert L. Briggs, president and CEO of American Bible Society, penned a commentary piece Thursday for Christianity Today, explaining how Christians in Ukraine are responding to the Russian crisis.

"As people grapple with unknown, many are experiencing the Bible's message for the first time ever," Briggs wrote. "According to [Anatoliy Raychynets, deputy general secretary of the Ukrainian Bible Society], priests and pastors over the past weeks have been flocking to the Bible Society store in Kyiv to buy Bibles."

The situation has been so intense the store reportedly ran out of Bibles, with Raychynets telling Briggs their biggest challenge is getting enough copies of scripture to meet the demand.

"We need more Bibles," he said.

Anonymous declares cyber war against Putin amid Ukraine invasion:

Russia launched an invasion of Ukraine on three fronts early Thursday, Feb. 24, “bombarding cities, towns and villages” as forces advanced toward the Eastern European country’s capital of Kyiv.

Now, Anonymous, a renowned international hacker group, has declared a cyberwar against Russia, which is accused of its own cyberattacks against Ukraine. President Biden has also reportedly been given options for “massive cyberattacks” to target Russia and complicate its invasion.

Alongside its military invasion, Russia has been blamed for undermining Ukraine’s cybersecurity, CNBC reported. The reported cyberattacks, aimed at both the banking system and government in Ukraine, included malware that can wipe clean data from any targeted organization and a DDoS attack on Wednesday, Feb. 23, that crippled websites of Ukrainian government agencies and financial institutions.

Anonymous has joined the cyber conflict in support of Ukraine, announcing on Feb. 24 that it was “officially in cyberwar against the Russian government.”  The following day, the group announced that the Russian Ministry of Defense website was down.

On Feb. 26, Anonymous said it hacked into Russians’ TVs to broadcast the “reality of what is happening in Ukraine.” Forbes and The Kyiv Independent, a Ukrainian newspaper, reported that Russian TV channels had been hacked and were now broadcasting Ukrainian songs.

Pentagon: Reluctant Russian troops are punching holes in their vehicle gas tanks to get out of fighting:

Hampered by logistics problems, including lack of fuel and food, some Russian troops in Ukraine are reportedly surrendering en masse and even sabotaging their own vehicles to get out of the conflict, a U.S. defense official said Tuesday.

In some cases, entire Russian units have laid down their arms and surrendered without a fight after encountering stiff resistance from Ukrainian troops, a senior Pentagon official said, according to the New York Times. The official indicated that a significant number of Russian troops are young recruits who have been poorly trained and were not prepared for the full-scale invasion ordered by Russian President Vladimir Putin last week. There are even reports that some Russian soldiers have deliberately punched holes in their vehicles' gas tanks, in what the U.S. official characterized as an attempt to avoid combat.
