Without substantive, meaningful hope, despair overtakes the soul. And when that happens, people give up. Here is a quote from well-known Bible prophecy teacher Hal Lindsey: "Man can live about forty days without food, about three days without water, about eight minutes without air…but only for one second without hope.” Unfortunately, as the spiritual darkness upon this planet intensifies while we move towards the harpazo and then Daniel's 70th week, I only expect suicide to continue to increase as conditions deteriorate even further. We should pray against that spirit, especially on behalf of those you know who are facing dire circumstances and do not know the Lord. God have mercy on the souls of men and come for His people soon. 1 Peter 1:3-5 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a LIVING HOPE through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."
