In the Jewish tradition I am given to understand, once released the Bridegroom assembles a wedding entourage of family and friends to escort him to the brides home!

With laughter and celebration and varied musical instruments the boisterous entourage approaches the brides home!

Thus announcing his coming and giving her time to gather her clothes and bid family farewell!

Her patient waiting has ended, as her heart soars with delight anticipating the soon embrace and wedding festivities!

All hearts filled with joy!

For he has made every provision in advance, anxious to reveal the work of his hands and the loving preparation and provision for his bride!

Such as Jesus with us!

There is a wonderful video that I will try to find and link here that shows how a Galilean wedding goes and it is as you have described TR.

It turns out that the video I am looking for is called "Before The Wrath" and is a full length movie but here is a 10 minute preview. I watched the entire move back when it came out and it is worth watching if you have not already seen it. Worth watching again even if you have seen it

One thing to note is that a Galilean wedding is different from other Jewish wedding traditions and much different than any other Middle Eastern wedding traditions.

In like fashion we first hear an Angel's call, then the sound of God's shofar. These announcements in themselves precede and give us notice of what is yet to come!

Then we consider all the aspects of events making up the Rapture!

Graves are opened, and the dead in Christ rise first receiving their glorified bodies and then waiting in the heavens!

Next, we which remain alive are called upward and as like those before us, in a nano second of time are transformed putting on immortality!

Once the body of Christ is fully gathered together in the clouds, we will all be presented before the Father!

Given the sequential nature of the full rapture experience this speaks of the passing of time!

How much, no one can say?!

As well as being presented before the Father, then Christ will present His bride!  And revealing all that He has laid in store for her!

It will be most interesting to see how much time transpires between the dead in Christ rising first and then those who remain.

That is my thought, yes. It would be in line with your theory of a heads up.

Love, love that movie — Brett did an awesome job to capture what the rapture may look like. I have the DVD and think I might watch it tonight to restart my heart
