Here again time alone will tell if time will be our friend or our foe.  How shall we redeem the days we have left here on the Earth.  Or whatever amount of days we have left?!

And with all eternity before us, how then shall we redeem our time in Heaven?!  Indeed knowing that before time for us began, that not all of the Angels redeemed their days wisely!

Truly we are promised that we shall forever be with Him.  And our eternal security assures us that we will never again rebel against Him, as like the angels did!  There is indeed much comfort in that knowledge.

Jesus is the only door and entrance into Heaven.  For having seen Jesus, we have seen the Father!  The Bride will also certainly become the wife of Christ, forevermore!

Time will also be most kind to us as well.  For as we stroll through eternity never aging, we shall always be without spot, blemish or wrinkle.  Therefore, eternally beautiful in His eyes!

Indeed the days of man were not always friendly.  But eternity shall certainly be our friend!  Can't wait!

Guess we better like one another now, for Heaven isn't big enough for anyone to hide!  Tee, hee, hee.

I’ve always wondered when we get to heaven will we be able to see God the Father and hear Him speak?  Will He be like a flaming fire when He appeared to Moses in the burning bush?  Or will we see a Ghost like form kind of like the Chick book tract has ... but then ... shouldn’t this picture represent Jesus since He will be the Judge over all and every knee will be bowing their knees to Him.

Then there is this verse ...

John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

So does this mean we will see Jesus only and not the rest of the Trinity? :feedback

We'll see Jesus for sure, and the Father probably from afar.  Don't know about the H.S.

Yes relating to the trinity will be something different.  In any event, we'll soon find out!

This holds part of the trepidation that I spoke of in another thread.  That is the uncertainty of Heavenly life in general and relating to the Trinity.  As spoken before, I've never been anything but human.  The flesh will be changed.  That I can wrap my head around.  My soul and spirit, how will they fare in Heaven?!  So then who can imagine what's in store?!  New things are always a little scary, aren't they?

Time will certainly tell, and we'll have plenty of that!

In Exodus 33 Moses is asking to see God’s glory ... and the Lord says “no one can see His face and live”  but He permitted Moses to see the back parts.  But I wonder with our spiritual eyes, in our glorified eternal bodies, this verse I John 3:2 says we will be like Jesus so perhaps we will get the opportunity to see God the Father in full glory?

I John 3:2 “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.”

Exodus 33:18-23  And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.  And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.  And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.  And the Lord said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:  And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

Indeed our resurrected and glorified bodies stand a much better chance of withstanding God's glory!  Yet even still, the full countenance and glory of the Father may still yet be held from us.

Which then begs the question, why if Jesus and the Father are one, we will be able to stand in Jesus's presence.  They are one, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, but are not the same.  Their likeness is different!  I find this extremely intriguing.

Seems as if the Son as Son, existed as part of the trinity even before humanity was conceived in His heart.  Even before the angels were created!  This is all for bigger minds than myself to digest.  There are many things about God to capture our imagination and wonder!

I hear ya ... in our finite minds its hard to understand the Trinity.  God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit are equal in their divine attributes but have different roles.  In my human mind I try to think of it like an egg - it has 3 parts - the whites, the yolk and the shell.

God Father designed and organized how mankind would be redeemed (Galatians 4:4-5) through the life and death of a Savior.

The Son Jesus carried out the plan (John 6:37-38). He followed the Father's instructions born in human flesh but had God the Father’s blood to die for all mankind.

The Holy Spirit convicts and nudges every person toward God's saving grace (John 14:26, John 16:8; Romans 1:19-20). Also takes up residence in each believer and transforms their lives.
