How many of you love both green and black olives? :good:   Wouldn’t it be cool to be assigned the duties for 1 day of picking the olives off the trees, sampling some and watching how to make olive oil in the factory?  As well as the grapes ... picking the green/red/black grapes from the vineyards and not worrying about poisonous snakes and sampling the delicious grapes!  Then going to the factory where they process the grapes into wine.  Do you think the angels will be using up-to-date machinery or will you be surprised to see them with their bare feet stomping down on the grapes?

Nothing sexier that a barefooted angel!

Better the angels working the fields of Heaven.  I get sunburned easily and sugar melts in the rain!   Tee, hee, hee! :thankyou

I do love both green and ripe olives! I think it would be much more interesting to process things the old way. Stomping of the grapes has been such a tradition and festival but was lost when everything was automated.

Hooray to mouth-watering green and ripe olive picking!  :good:

And it looks like the old foot stomping  technique of the grapes is making a big come back...

These are my favorite ...

Green Olives - from Spain

Black “Ripe” Olives - from California.  They are much sweeter than the ones from Spain.

Now I’m about to make home made pizza and put some black ones on!  Yum!
