Isaiah 11 is return of Jesus while Isaiah 10 speaks of God using Assyrian king to punish Israel. This event shall take place in mid trib. Isaiah 10:5 O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation. 6 I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets. The Assyrian is AC. He shall move from Rome to Babylon, when he does that, God starts calling him Assyrian and King of Babylon. An hypocritical nation is Israel. Good news is after this punishment, God shall have mercy on Israel again. 20 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. 21The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God. 24 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt. 25 For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction. God's indignation only lasts 3.5 years. Back in 2010, I also mentioned in raptureready forum regarding how would AC travel to meet Jesus in his last day. 28 He is come to Aiath, he is passed to Migron; at Michmash he hath laid up his carriages: 29 They are gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at Geba; Ramah is afraid; Gibeah of Saul is fled. 30 Lift up thy voice, O daughter of Gallim: cause it to be heard unto Laish, O poor Anathoth. 31 Madmenah is removed; the inhabitants of Gebim gather themselves to flee. 32 As yet shall he remain at Nob that day: he shall shake his hand against the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem. I have attached a biblical map of Judah. https://bibleatlas.org/full/nob.htm Notice this Assyrian king/AC's movement on his last day. His journey starts from Aiath, then he goes to Migron, Geba, Gibeah, Anathoth, and finally comes to Nob which is north of mount Olive. While in Nob, he is anticipating the return of our Lord Jesus.. He begins his journey from the north of Jerusalem. My guess is after he gathers nations in valley of Megiddo, he travels to the south, finally reaches Nob, to wait for Jesus there. Isaiah 10:29 they have taken up their lodging at Geba After he travels from Aiath to Migron, from Migron to Geba, he shall take lodging there. Looks like he and his companions shall stay overnight at Geba. Next morning he shall arrive at Nob which is a stone throwing distance from Mount Olive. Just curious ... what was your moniker name on the RaptureReady board? Same user name, 2ndcoming. I was a member there between 2010 and 2011. Oh, we just missed each other. Looks like while you were active there I was still a lurker and then when I joined. you already left. Were you active on their sister board? You meant raptureforum? No, I never joined them. What is your view of the Abomination of Desolation? What does the AC do? My thoughts are that not only does he put his AI robot image inside the temple but perhaps he moves his desk/computer as well and works out of the Holy of Holies room. He hangs his image on the wings of third temple, most likely inner court. It shall be broadcast all over the world. He speaks through his image.
