Give up? Surely you jest. A sane person would recognize when he's lost; a sane party would do the same. But then you have the answer right there. The Left is made up of Progressives. Consider what that means: At the core, they can never be satisfied with the way things are, and therefore must keep things in a constant state of turmoil. A Conservative mind can accept that this is an imperfect world, because of sin, and that God is the ultimate authority. A Progressive must always seek to tear down the system, which they see as inherently corrupt and flawed, and replace it with a god in their own image. They must rule; they must win; or else, their foundational belief in the infinite perfectibility of human existence (under their control, or course) is threatened. Viewing the video with sourpuss “Nanshee Peloshee” (as Rush calls her) was wearing all white and so were her entourage of encouragers ... I couldn’t help but think that represented the “white flag”.
