I could definitely see that Heidi, I think people for years probably wondered what that scripture meant or how it could be fulfilled, but I think we can definitely see how it might work out - one more reason to believe that we are close - even at the door! I could see how some future vax could promise an upgrade to the immune system via DNA - which is what the ungodly are after: eternal life in this world without God interfering in their lives or telling them what to do -it may claim that it will stop aging and that you will stay young and live forever or maybe even just longer like 500 or 1000 years - which the masses will flock to. But it will probably not be what they bargain for and they will regret taking it and during the punishments of the trib will seek death and then not be able to die! If it changes the DNA they will maybe not be any longer considered “human” and maybe that why those take the mark can no longer be saved - maybe they no longer qualify for salvation because they are no longer humans with the DNA God gave them made in the image of God. Christ came in the form of man to die for humans and atone for them, not for fallen angels or any other creature not made in the image of God. All of this is just speculation on my part of course, but I’m saying I can easily see now how that scripture of Revelation 9:6 could find its fulfillment now. Up until the very last God will reach out sending two end time witnesses, 144 thousand evangelists, and and angels to preach the everlassting gospel! Even those with infected bodies!!! I wonder why this lie of thinking persists knowing that earthly bodies will always fail and will need to be replaced! Even with altered DNA the heart is what is offered to the Lord! I do not believe anything we have today, any current vax or genetic “therapy” disqualifies anyone for the kingdom as the MOTB will one day- but I can definitely see a scenario where that may happen in the future. I wanted to make sure I was clear on that because it becomes a divisive point among some brothers and sisters that for whatever their reason have chosen to take the current vax and then have loons running around implicating that it is the MOTB - that is most definitely not me. But I will say if the MOTB includes a genetic modification as I suspect it very well may, I believe the heart will be corrupted and polluted beyond redemption at that time as well - because it will be an act of worship of the beast to trust him for whatever he is promising will be the benefit of the mark and whoever takes that mark in those days has given their heart to a false god as well, trusting someone else for life and salvation other than the One True God. Agreed and well said! That belief is being taught by many knowledgeable Christians, without any basis IMHO! TR I also tend to think genetic manipulation will likely be involved in the mark. Maybe the current vax's are working towards that, but they are definitely not the mark today. I think it's important to note for anyone concerned to note that Revelation 13:15 does say that worship of the beast will be a key part of that system. I don't think there will be anyone taking the mark who doesn't understand what it is or does so by accident. Voluntary subjugation and lip service will be required! As they say, any port in the storm! TR As I had mentioned on another thread previously, the elitists already have technology to cause people to live much longer and avoid aging and disease. I think that the mark will be a combination genetic augmentation that provides this amazing health and ridiculous longevity and also requires allegiance and worship of the beast. I have a rose at my house that was genetically altered or treated with something that has caused it to live for.......22 months!! no water, no food, the petals have only recently started to turn down but there is no sign of decay at all and the leaves on it never get dust on them!!??!! I keep it as a reminder of what I know that they have....and comfort that the eternal life that we have in Jesus is the real thing, no imitation.
