Years ago I also wrote a piece entitled "Testimony of Tears".  In short I explored how the Lord is mindful of our tears, He gathers and stores them.  And this act by God spoke volumes to me.  Speaking of His compassionate heart.  And then understanding how our tears will guide the Lord in his dispensation of justice and judgment, as well as occasion to dispense rewards.

That said, I recently was pondering our tears again.  It just seemed to me that our tears are a template if you will of our truest feelings.

Tears of joy, excitement, anticipation, validation, anger, sorrow,  loss, grief, hurt, pain, etc!  As such it struck me how many emotions are expressed by our tears!  Tears seem to speak with more volume and emotion that words.

Whether they would fill an ocean, feed a river, or mist a moment we should acknowledge our tears and embrace the truth that they speak!  Just as the Lord does!  IMHO

Yes indeed, the Lord is a keeper of our tears!  Imagine that.

I just learned recently God keeps at least 4 books ...

* Book of Life  * Book of Remembrance  * Book of Tears  * Book of Births

In the Book of Tears:

“Thou tellest my wanderings: put Thou my tears into Thy bottle: are they not in Thy book?” (Psalms 56:8)

The Book of Tears records our pain and disappointments and sadness — Who we trusted and how we dealt with the trials and tribulations of this life.

“In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me. . . . For Thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?” (Psalms 56:11,13)
