Hello siblings,

I got a call from our director.

He said we don't have to discuss the vax if I don't want to but if there is anything he can do. I sounded hesitant, was not sure what to tell him.

then he said you are a very good team member, I would like to keep people like you, can you get a medical exemption. I said I am not sure, he said talk to your family doctor.

I don't know what to make of him talking like this.

I told him can I go to my naturopathic doctor, he said I am not sure this will work.

My family doctor did not even give me a mask exempt and when you mention vaxes. he stiffens up. I am not sure he will give it to me. It is hard to go and ask and be turned down.

Can someone please give me some guidance. I am a bit lost right now.

thank you

I told him can I go to my naturopathic doctor, he said I am not sure this will work.

Does he say this meaning insurance coverage or...?

I would at least call your naturopathic doctor first, then depending, your family doctor.

Try to find a doctor that is anti vax and get an exemption from him.

It sounds like he does not want to lose a good employee.  Praying for you.  ??

Sometimes you can get a medical exemption for allergies.....such as skin allergies and or bee allergies. If a provider was willing to say that you have a reaction to bee stings (which most people do, usually mild but it is still a reaction) and taken in consideration with the reports of some people experiencing anaphylaxis with the covid vaccine they could state that they request that you could be exempt on the basis that for you developing the same reaction.....now the overall risk may be low, but it is truthful to say there is a risk.... Some people with autoimmune disorder, bleeding disorders and heart conditions can get exemptions however I remember you stating that you are healthy overall, which is good, but those topics wouldn't apply to you. Will be praying that someone would be willing to help you with this :prayer-hands:

Thank you everybody for your responses.

Kolleen, I think he meant that they don't accept letters from Naturopathic doctors. It has to be an MD.

Churchgal, thank you very much for the info. I do get allergic reactions easily on my skin. I am sensitive  to a few things. No serious reactions though,  the only one  was when I touched the chemical on the table a few weeks. I  got a bad reaction then.

Feels like my head is spinning. too much is  going on.

I will talk to my ND tomorrow. he can tell me what  would be a good thing to come up with for the medical exemption. Hope he knows doctors to  go to.

I am worried how my body will react  to that shot.  Wouldn't  be surprised if  I went into  shock. I am used to natural stuff. whenever I have any problems, I mostly use my essential oils. If  I drink soda or eat something too sweet, I feel like it is poison.  My chest feels weird and I can't handle the sugar content.

I have been wondering what the real motive  was for the director  to call me and  talk to me that  way. he said I am a good employee and  always the first to be willing to help  when something comes up..............

but still, who is indispensable?

I wondered if he was  trying to trick me: can't you get a medical  exemption? and maybe he  thought I would  say that I know a doctor who would write me one  if I asked him/her.

then he would know that I can just get people  to write me stuff that is not true...............just maybe like my religious exemption request was not true..............

I don't know. Am I  being silly thinking like that?

Your employer has the "authority" to accept your religious excemption request, which I'm sure the director would be either involved or privy to the decision making on that matter.

The fact he said no ned totalk about the special injection means the conversation was actualy about the special injection.

I think maybe they were fishing for info to see how resolute you are about your stance, and realising they maybe pushing a specialist employee to far?

Thank you very much Loz. I really appreciate your input. I needed to figure out what might be going on.

the minute I picked up the phone and was talking to him, the message: "he is not your friend" was in my mind.

He is the director of our department only. Sorry I did not mention that. I don't know how much authority he has to accept my exemption.
