Its so amazing to see how all of this is playing out.  For the years that I've been part of RITAN we've talked about high watch dates and months and those dates and months have come and go and we look for the next date and month.   But, I remember a few months ago when people were talking about April 2020.   That was before chaos hit the world.    At the time I thought - well just another date and like all of those before it will come and go and we'll look for the next date.   With the progression of events over the past 3 weeks I now feel differently than in the past and April is quickly approaching.   I don't fear the outcome of what its about to unfold, instead it brings a sense of excitement knowing how the story ends.   When I see things like the article that just appeared on our NBC station's website - my excitement grows.   Look at the last bullet point:

Key updates:

  • The confirmed cases of the new coronavirus has topped 200,000 worldwide, according to Johns Hopkins University.
  • The U.S. and Canada have agreed to close its border to "non-essential traffic."
President Trump is reportedly considering a plan to turn back all people who cross the border illegally from Mexico.
  • California's governor says school may not reopen this spring. Kansas' governor announced the closure of all K-12 schools for the remainder of the academic year.
  • Leaders of the world's top economies working to conduct a virtual meeting to plan a coordinated response.

You can read whatever you wish into that last bullet point but wow.... does coordinated response mean a one world response?   We know how the story ends.... is this part of the script?

Praying for the safety and security of all of our RITAN brothers and sisters.  May the spirit of the Lord give you peace and security and may the power of the mighty God protect you and your family from this disease.      I look forward to seeing you all at the banquet table!

Amen, Todd!  Even for those of us who have been watching, the speed of these developments have ramped up exponentially.  It's as if the floodgates have been opened and anything is possible in the coming weeks.  The amazing thing for me is how rapidly attitudes and plans shift according to what is prophesied.  It's as if a light went on and we can say, "Oh, so that's how it will happen."  Still, people act dazed. When people become scared, they make irrational decisions.

In agreement Todd ... I have high hopes the church leaves this spring.  And we got this going on with the Pope scheduled for May 14th (on Israel’s Independence Day)

ROME - Pope Francis is inviting world leaders and young people to come together at the Vatican on May 14, 2020, for a an event called “Reinventing the Global Educational Alliance.”

“Never before has there been such need to unite our efforts in a broad educational alliance, to form mature individuals capable of overcoming division and antagonism, and to restore the fabric of relationships for the sake of a more fraternal humanity,”

An alliance that generates peace, justice and hospitality among all peoples of the human family, as well as dialogue between religions.”

I’m seeing some weird policy in place now in this small town.  You guys in the bigger cities might not be noticing this yet ... but now the policy in the grocery stores is (no returns/no price adjustment).  I was just there at the small one - got a bag of apples (fully enclosed store plastic bag) on Saturday for $4.00 and now they are on sale for $2.00 ... they wouldn’t refund me.  I said I will keep them if you give me the price adjustment ... even that they refused.  They are not taking back any items now because we might have the virus.  But yet ... the store ran out of wipes to clean the shopping cart handles and don’t they realize anyone shopping in the store do touch items to read the labels and do put back on the shelves?  They could be carriers and hey they still take our “dirty” money ... but then I’m sure they are working on that ... to dissolve next by going fully cashless. :mdrmdr:    They keep promising the trucks “are coming” in daily ... but so far NO new food has been put out.  Meanwhile what is left on the shelves are fewer and fewer items.  It feels like I’m living in Venezuela with the shortages.   I got a theory here ... they want everything bought out so when they do restock they are going to jack up the prices so high on everything.  No commercial bread or English muffins ... but their bakery had 6 fresh warm loaves available so I picked up one.  I think the only reason they were available is because they had the dough in their freezer and quickly baked a few loaves.  Then I drove over to the post office - nobody inside.  No one walking the sidewalks and the clothes and shoe shops are closed.  Nobody is eating out at the restaurants for breakfast and no people/no cars at the bagel shop.  I then went to the much bigger grocery store and it was a good feeling to see at least some cartons of eggs, milk and dairy products restocked ... however,  I noticed they are from local farms only.  They now at least have hot dogs again but missing the Kosher ones.  Still have plenty of junk food though - potato chips/pretzels, cookies/candy.  Oh and they restocked on beer and wine ... they got their priorities set so everyone can still party on and be merry. B-)

Regarding your report, Geri, "Pope Francis is inviting world leaders and young people to come together at the Vatican on May 14, 2020, for a an event called “Reinventing the Global Educational Alliance.” It will probably have to be live-streamed on video.   Is there such a thing as "dead-streamed?"

I’ve been in my house for 5 days as related to some issues. I m still online with my acute care facility to ensure everything is running smoothly, but never before has the medical world been as burdened and over-whelmed regionally and nationally as currently. Never has our supply chain been as challenged to supply such common everyday products, not to mention the medical supplies that are running short. Never has the work force been shifted so dramatically and so quickly. Everything from service facilities (restaurant etc....) to educational institutions have been mandated to close. The next step for the US will be as France, Italy, Israel, and South Korea have done —- confined to home and Marshal law to enforce this. As I said with Whit’s first posting, this is far from over. Once it appears to be “controlled” - a new level will be introduced - it is being used to open the door for the global community. Thanking the Lord, we do not have the Spirit of fear, but of a sound mind...God is getting ready to call the Bride home, I agree with Todd, Johanna, and Dave — we may not have seen it coming this way, but it’s here and we can certainly get very excited, it is if not the final end time sign to see before our departure   :prayer-hands: :prayer-hands:

I’m surprised to hear that the medical field doesn’t have enough supplies on hand because the average citizen doesn’t have access to their supplies to purchase.  Unless are A LOT of people filling up the E.R rooms in a panic and just wanting to get tested or are they actually truly sick and need meds?

I’ve been observing this for the past few days ... not too many UPS and Fed Ex drivers on the road.  On an average day I used to faithfully see up to 10 different delivery trucks making their rounds in town and/or in the neighborhoods and now I only see 1 or 2 trucks.  So I wonder if they scaled back the drivers and this is keeping the supplies backed up from reaching the medical field and/or stores?

Geri,

To answer your query, YES — the EDs are filled with people in a panic, demanding to be tested. I have had to advise staff to call the police if they are threatened, it’s that crazy in the EDs across the country. One of my ED directors called me, again last night about a potential threat, I emphasized, call PD, I support you in that. Hospital systems have “pulled” supplies to protect them from the public stealing them. We have to have them for our staff. The supply chain is at around 65% secure, that is fragile at best, so thankful for the president taking the action he did to secure the supply chain for hospital supplies and medications.

This craziness is so multilevel and underhanded for the “deep state”, “one world”, globalist, etc.... most of the medical world is like “what in the world” disbelief, this is such a minor illness for most folks under 70 without any additional comorbidities.

Watch, once we hit a semi calm, another level of upheaval WILL occur. I seriously believe, we are on the last leg of our journey or wait and trumpets are at any moment. This can’t just go away like we see with a hurricane, tornado, or terror event.  There is no going back to a normalcy, we the people have gone from freedom to government control.

pray, for a spring wedding! :prayer-hands:

Wow Tammie ... thanks for the update.  Never a dull moment at work for you!  I wonder if some workers are secretly stealing some of the supplies?   I worked for a little while at a pharmaceutical company called Novartis.  They had gates around their grounds with guard houses at the entrances and there was numerous lock downs especially when it came time for lunch and I couldn’t meet my friends at a local pizza parlor because they closed the gates and the guards were searching everyone for the culprit.  It got annoying so I resign there ... I felt like I was in a prison.

What are your thoughts about the drug that cures malaria ... theory is out that might cure the coronavirus.  If so, at least there won’t be a long time span wasted in testing ... perhaps life will go back to “norm” quickly so they can say “peace and security” at last and then ....

Interesting how John Hopkins University has released the figures on how many people have supposedly been infected.

John Hopkins University hosted Event 201.

Event 201 is a pandemic tabletop exercise hosted by The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security in partnership with the World Economic Forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation on October 18, 2019, in New York, NY. The exercise illustrated the pandemic preparedness efforts needed to diminish the large-scale economic and societal consequences of a severe pandemic. Drawing from actual events, Event 201 identifies important policy issues and preparedness challenges that could be solved with sufficient political will and attention. These issues were designed in a narrative to engage and educate the participants and the audience.

Coincidence is not a kosher word.
