It's an interesting sign that we are seeing in our business -- we have two clothing lines -- one that is faith based and one that is addiction recovery based. Our faith based clothing sales are down 50% year over year from last year, while our addiction recovery sales are up 50% over last year. When people were locked up and couldn't do anything they clearly were focused more on Jesus, or at least they were buying faith based products. Now that life has returned to "normal" - it appears that the focus has shifted away from faith. Is it a symptom of falling away? It seems people are only interested in Jesus when times are tough. But even then their prayers tend to be selfish. Once times are good again they forget all about Him. Well, terribly tough times are on the near horizon. Interesting stats! Because that means your customers, Todd, have pretty much taken the vaxx if they think things are back to “norm” business as usual. Meanwhile the unvaxx are feeling like we have leprosy by the way we are being outcast from society. I felt more freedom last year than this year. Amen Geri -- fortunately we know how the story ends. I can't imagine not being aware of where we are on the timeline and living in today's world. Without Jesus where does their hope come from? Hope from a vax? Hope from government? Hope from #46? I just can't wrap my brain around where people who don't live for Jesus get their hope. I'm glad that 56 years ago my grandmother sat me on her kitchen stool and led me though the prayer to accept Jesus. Even though life has been absolutely unbearable at times - I've always had that undeniable hope that can only come from Jesus. I know where I'm heading after this show is over. Blind and irrational hope based mostly on wishful and deluded thinking! TR The title set my mind to the past — enjoy — the signs are all around us. Lovely, lovely to see saints praising love songs to the Lord! TR
