Having studied and taught genetics, I find this alarming. Interesting day ... had to drive a distance for my dental cleaning and Hurricane Isaias turned inland and passing thru so it was crazy driving down and returning in the down pour. We need the rain though. Made it safely back ... I saw one car in an accident ... off the road in the ditch and the police and emergency workers were on the scene ... so thankful I wasn’t involved in that. I stood in a long line at the hospital entrance like a lamb to the slaughter so they could check our temperature and wrote our names on a log and who we were seeing. The waiting room at the dentist office has the chairs mostly facing the wall ... only 4 out of 12 chairs are for sitting down. It was eerie seeing no patients in the waiting room. They must get many cancellations now perhaps from failing the temperature tests? :unsure: They are making us sign a form if our appointment gets cancelled ... they will still be charging us for a no show, even if we reschedule it. Found out they were shut down for a few months so this is their sneaky way to recoup “money”. If we are still here in 2021 ... I think I’m going to have to try to find a new dentist. The workers there are just cold and treating us like we are just a number. I thought if the rapture happens before my next cleaning appointment ... they will now charge me for the no show. :mdrmdr: The hygienist was over the top with her ridiculous outfit on. All the other workers just had a mask ... but not her ... she had a gas mask, and plastic face shield with glasses that had an attached magnifying light. She also wore a light blue surgeon’s gown, with light blue gloves ... no skin was showing. :scratch: She had some type of mouth wash solution and gave me 2 plastic disposable cups ... I needed to swish half the solution in my mouth and then spit it out into the other cup and do it again with the remaining junk. I was treated like I had leprosy. The way I look at it ... if she is this scared she should find another occupation. What are they going to do once the tribulation plagues start happening?! After she worked on my teeth she said we are not making 6 month dental appointments because ... they expect a 2nd wave of the virus to reappear ... so they want us to call them in 5 months or so to set up the appointment over the phone, that is ... if they are still open. I have to go back there again in 2 weeks ... got a chip on my back molar and want it repaired. If we are still here in 2021 ... I’m going to have to find a new dentist. Then I went to super Walmart. Many empty aisles ... just walked around ... even the toy dept is almost completely empty. Just very weird. Perhaps people are doing early Christmas shopping? :unsure: Only 5 bikes left ... all the guns and ammo are still empty in the hunting dept. Still plenty of fishing rods and tackle though. Drove over to Dollar General ... all the shelves are empty of toilet paper, paper towels, etc. but they have plenty of halloween candy stacked up in various aisles for the 2nd wave of the plandemic ... but if you need a dentist to repair your teeth ... forget it. 🙁 It's all about priorities when things get lean!
