It seems to me that our meeting the Lord in the air is a staging area!

As we gather together with the dead in Christ and those left alive, as well as with our Beloved, we shall come into the fold as individuals.

Meeting and greeting each other.  Then thanking Christ for His precious gift, the Lord will then present us to the Father as a whole unit.  IE:  the Bride!

Always wondered why we had a layover in the clouds?!  Rather than being immediately ushered into the presence of the Father!

Apparently the Lord will then usher us through the pearly gates and into the Father's presence.

It's all beginning to make sense now!

Yes, its very fascinating how the Lord collects all our tears!  How can we ever doubt His love for us?  Not only did He suffer and take our place on the Cross at Calvary so we can live forever with Him but the fact He collects all our tears of disappointments in this life also proves how much He is concerned and cares for us very much.   Many of us have big bottles of tears ... but take heart ... if we remain steadfast in our trials ... we shall receive the Crown of Life.

Psalm 56:8

You keep track of all my sorrow.  You have collected all my tears in your bottle.  You have recorded each one in your book.

Revelation 21:4

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

Isaiah 25:8

He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the Lord has spoken.

James 1: 12

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
