Since this forum is Rapture Chat, I would like to speak my opinion on the rapture and see what say you. I have always separated the two texts of Changed in the twinkling of an eye . ( 1 Corinthians 15:51-53) with being caught up in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 ) My thought on the rapture goes something like this: All at once out of nowhere I think we will hear the Trumpet blow. At that very second It will be the end of the age of Grace. No one can be saved by Grace anymore. Then we will hear the trumpet continue to blow, getting everyone to come out to see what is happening. Then Jesus will appear in the clouds. As everyone looks up, the saved will be changed in the twinkling of an eye. We shall have glorified bodies and the knowledge of the rapture and know we are saved. Then after that, the dead will begin to rise from the graves and we will witness it. Then, we shall be caught up in the air to be forevermore with the lord. My thoughts on separating these events (they would still happen in a very short time and one right after the other) is because if we were not changed before the dead rose, we may fear we missed the rapture. I would love to hear some more opinions and/or thoughts on the rapture. I think they would be encouraging for all of us.
