I’m a little hesitant to post the following information, simply because I might be unnecessarily belaboring the point. Also, it could possibly be a red herring, as it were, and of no consequence whatsoever. In 1981 I was a young man in a world that was caught up in the hype of an impending royal wedding and nobody could ignore the excitement and pomp and ceremony that was about to unfold when the betrothed Charles (32) and Diana (20) would make their wedding vows in St Paul’s Cathedral in London. It was during this time that I read a newspaper interview with the couple shortly after they famously got engaged. One of the questions was if they shared any common interests. One of them said they were both intrigued by occultism and that they had even attended some meetings of the Church of Wicca in England. Naturally, I was shocked! At the time I had never heard of the Church of Wicca, so I looked it up. This morning I tried to find that interview online to prove it, but couldn’t find it. Of course, in 1981 press articles weren’t yet digital, so I’d probably need to find the hard copy. I remember it very clearly though, and told quite a few people about it – it’s not something you can confuse or forget, especially not about someone destined to become Head of the Church of England and “Defender of the Faith”. To make a short story even longer, as I was digging on the internet to find this interview, I watched a video interview with the couple (pre-wedding). One of the questions were: “Do you love each other?” Diana immediately said: “Yes, of course!” Charles followed by saying: “Yes, yes, whatever love is.” Oh I believe it. We’ve been lied to on so many levels. Princess Diana wanted to call off the marriage ceremony but the Queen said its too late .. all the invitations have been given out and their names/images and date of the wedding were on all the souvenirs. So she had to go on with the wedding and put on a pretend happy face. Here Prince William wears the Goats Head Patch … part of the Royal Air Force Squadron mascot symbol. I remember seeing this on a youtube … Prince William & Harry and Kate were on the set of Harry Potter promoting magic on the Today Show. - Fair Use -
