First Paragraph: Set to take place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 11 to 22 November 2024, the 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29) aims to be a “Truce COP”, with a call for a one-month global cease-fire during the conference.

From Craig Bong's Facebook:

Sometime after Israel strikes Iran in the coming days, the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office will make a plea for a peaceful truce aligning with the COP29 November Truce to "save the planet". Azerbaijan (13 hours ago): To Save Our Planet, It Is Time for a COP29 Truce. Why? Concerns over the health of our planet rank as highly as issues of global stability, security, and peace.

ISRAEL AND UK BILATERAL RELATIONS
The State of Israel and the United Kingdom have enjoyed a "fruitful" diplomatic relationship.
The below illustrates information regarding important events, state visits and cooperation agreement signings between Israel and the UK.
2024
The new government under Starmer and on behalf of King Charles III, focuses on the need for an immediate ceasefire and a political solution in the Middle East. Updates to a deal will be announced through the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development website.
2023
The UK and Israel signed the 7-year 2030 roadmap in March of 2023, an ambitious agreement to ensure the bilateral partnership remains forward-looking and continues to innovate to address shared challenges for mutual benefit. Using a thematic approach, the roadmap provided commitments for deepening UK-Israel cooperation. It covered the breadth of the deep relationship, including trade, cyber, science and tech, research and development, SECURITY, health, climate and gender.
2021
In November 2021, the British government and the Israeli government, signed a Memorandum of Understanding elevating the UK-Israel bilateral relationship to a strategic partnership. This represented a signal of intent for both countries to cohere, deepen and expand cooperation across our mutual priorities for our mutual benefit.
2019
Following the UK’s departure from the European Union, Israel and UK signed their first free trade agreement, which came into force on 1 January 2021 and replaced the Israel-EU free trade agreement. The UK and Israel are in negotiations to upgrade and expand the existing FTA.
2018
HRH The Prince of Wales travelled to Israel for the first official visit of a member of the British Royal Family. Princes Philip (1994) and Edward (2007) made private visits, as did King Charles III (in his capacity as Prince in 1995 and 2016).
2016
Britain became one of the first countries to formally adopt the new definition of anti-Semitism, published by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA).
The definition reads: “Anti-Semitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews.
Rhetorical and physical manifestations of anti-Semitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities.”
The UK assumed the IHRA Presidency on 1st March 2024 for one year.
2011
The British Embassy in Israel launched the UK-Israel Tech Hub, a non-for-profit venture to drive economic growth by helping British companies partner with cutting-edge technology from Israel.
The Hub – the first of its kind – has been instrumental in increasing and strengthening bilateral economic ties, with over 175 innovated partnerships facilitated worth more than £85m and with no fewer than 26 companies trading on the London Stock Exchange.
2008
Gordon Brown became the first British Prime Minister to address Israel's Parliament (the Knesset) in Jerusalem, delivering a passionate speech to the gathered members.
1995
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II received President Ezer Weizman to London.
The meeting marked the first State Visit of an Israeli President to the UK.
1967
Lord Caradon, Britain’s representative to the UN, drafted Resolution 242, which was adopted after the Six-Day War and became the central document of the Middle East diplomatic effort.
The resolution, a total of just 291 words, aims to establish ‘a just and lasting peace in the Middle East’ between Israel and its neighbours.
Israel accepted the resolution and recognises it as the basis for all peace negotiations for an Arab-Israeli peace settlement.
1950
Israel opened diplomatic relations with the UK after the latter’s formal recognition of the State of Israel in April, moving staff to the former home of novelist and illustrator William Makepeace Thackeray. It officially became Israel's embassy in 1952 and has remained so ever since.
1922
The League of Nations (predecessor to the UN) met in St. James Palace, London, legally confirmed Britain as the Mandatory power for Palestine and stated that “the Mandatory shall be responsible for placing the country under such political, administrative and economic conditions as will secure the establishment of the Jewish national home”.
1917
The Balfour Declaration enshrined the British Government’s support for a Jewish national home. Originally taking the form of a letter from British Foreign Secretary Lord Balfour to honorary president of the Zionist Federation Lord Rothschild, the declaration played an important role in Britain’s support for, and the creation of, the State of Israel.

From Five Doves, Oct 13, John Tng:  "The Midnight Hour Is Fast Approaching"

[Note: there is a lot of gematria in his post and I don't get into that.]

Dear Doves,

If Israel is God's prophetic timepiece, then the unhinged situation in the Middle East tells us that we are almost at the midnight hour.

The word 'midnight' first appears in the Bible in Exodus 11:4, "And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt."

The typology hidden in the Exodus account according to Ex 11:4, shows that the midnight hour is linked to the Antichrist (Pharaoh). The rapture saints, as typified by the Israelites, left the world (Egypt) in mass departure (Exodus) and headed to the Promised Land (Heaven).

The word 'midnight' first appears in the New Testament in Matthew 25:6, "And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him."

This is the midnight cry rapture scripture!

Again, the Law of First Mention underscores the significance of this verse. Here, typology gives way to actual fulfillment foreshadowed by types and symbols in the first 'midnight' verse of the Old Testament.

The mass exodus of the Israelites in Ex 11:4 finds fulfillment in the mass exodus of the Rapture saints at the midnight cry in Matthew 25:6 when the five wise virgins go in to the wedding with the Bridegroom, Jesus Christ.

The surface texts of the verses that contain the first mentions of the word 'midnight' in the Old and New Testaments are clear rapture verses -- rapture typology hidden in the Exodus in the OT (Exodus 11:4) and the midnight cry rapture in the NT (Matthew 25:6).

Cheshvan is known as the Bitter Month; it is the only month in the Hebrew calendar where there are no feasts, holidays, fasts, and special observances. The Rapture may be a special feast in the month of Cheshvan after its fulfillment.

Cheshvan 11 and Cheshvan 17 are interesting dates; I tend to lean on the former for the Rapture based on the fact that God shut the door of the Ark on this day (compare with Matthew 25:10). Another post perhaps.

If a nuclear war erupts, it's time to look up to the sky for the arrival of our Bridegroom!

Come, Lord Jesus.
John
