Rabbi Azaria Ariel, traveled to an undisclosed ranch in Israel to lead the Temple Institute’s efforts to raise a red heifer for the performance of the commandment of producing the purifying ashes of the red heifer. He recently inspected the current red heifer candidates and shared their status.

One of the two more mature candidates is still very viable, even though it has a few hairs which aren’t sufficiently red, as required by halacha (Jewish law).

Two new candidates were born in the early months of 2020, and they are currently viable.

From the same article:

"The purifying power of the ashes of the red heifer posses the ability to overcome the spiritual impurity contracted via physical contact with a corpse or cadaver, known in Hebrew as טמא מת – tamei met. The renewal of the ashes of the red heifer would enable kohanim (Temple priests) today to achieve the highest level of spiritual purity, allowing them to resume their work in the Holy Temple."

It was some time ago so I don't recall where I had read this but if I remember correctly (always a weak point! Lol), that they have already burned red heifers and have sufficient ash for the covering, wouldn't that help in the matter of the current heifer not having sufficient red hairs?

I'll have to scan the Temple Institutes web site to see if that was where I had read that article.

Yes, I read that too ... if they find the old container of red heifer ashes they can get by with using them for now. :good:

Meanwhile perhaps they can practice the marination process by massaging in some hot Tabasco sauce on those few fine white hairs?

How many shades of red are there?!

Spiritual purity would dictate they recognize Christ as Messiah!  Love God, love His Son!

Depends on who you ask. Men were born with 16 crayons in their box. Women with 64,000! 😉

Well at least you willingly admit (and had a second to the opinion) that men have a box and it really seems to be much smaller (16 vs 64000) than the box for women ..... hmmmm :mdrmdr: hate life grand! Ok, so we’re acting likes brothers and sisters with the joking! How cool, what a family :mdrmdr: :good:

I can certainly go there! Even that really happened:

Woman (yep blond), in a parking lot crying and obviously very distressed. Man steps over to ask if he can help, she explains that she keeps pushing the key fob and the car door just won’t open. Asking to see the key fob, he uses the “key” part to open the door and showed her how to also start her engine with the same key extension, just in case the start button stops working as well....... :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr:  mentioned that she might consider going to the battery store... :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr:

just think we have an eternity to share :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr:
