PROVIDENCE WILL NOT BE DENIED

When the leaves on the trees turn rigid and brown,

They’ll twist and shake as they come tumbling down;

In the twilight of life they’ll be grasping for air,

Experiencing death in the autumn’s waning glare.

The weather will then be agitated, showing no remorse,

Withering and uprooting with devastating force;

The earth will quiver, statuesque trees will bend,

Innate formations will shrivel in this tumultuous trend.

Mountains will sink unmercifully, turbulent seas will quickly rise,

Towering tsunami crests will emerge, along with hurricane eyes;

Mighty snows will flurry, raindrops will pierce as they fall,

Synchronicity will stumble --DESTINY will place its call.

The sun will rapidly fade, cold gray winds will freely blow,

Dark horizons will dominate where stars used to glow;

The END TIMES prophesied through THE WORD fitly spoken,

Will arrive to confirm earthly treasures being broken.

The Brethren have preached and provided sound reason,

To prevent complacency from shrouding the SEASON;

The wicked have been warned to seek higher ground,

But the GOOD NEWS they dismissed as an unwelcome sound.

The impious and ungodly now watch their storehouses fall,

Fueling their anger, rage, and appall;

Their mansions topple while their dams irrevocably burst,

They will suffer in agony, hunger, and thirst.

The self-exalted don’t realize they will endure as fools,

Relying upon their weapons and homemade tools;

If only they had heeded the SCRIPTURES they heard,

They could be transformed as SAINTS, and fly like a bird!

But the stubborn dismissed every opportunity they had,

To hear the GOSPEL -- too bad, too sad;

When the RAPTURE occurred they were a day too late,

And now suffer forever a truly unnecessary fate!

We tried our best to caution and warn,

But they went out of their way to scoff and scorn;

Tweedle-Dum and Tweedle-Dee,

Are the names they used to mock the FREE.

Great prose!  Indeed destiny shall prevail.  For good or bad.
