I then sat in his playpen and held him in my arms for 20 minutes reassuring him everything will be ok. I then was able to spoon feed him a few bites. But he is still sooo out of it (eyes are squinting) looking around confused from the anesthesia. So he is sleeping now. I will put his small plate of food in the refrig and then try again later. But at least he opened up his mouth for 5 bites of mushy chicken dog food. That’s the most since Saturday!
