Ritan family, I was super excited to find y'all again this past spring, and then "poof!" I went not long after. We have had a LOT going on in our family in the last several months. We are all physically fine, but have been under a lot of spiritual, mental, and emotional attacks. I cannot go into a lot of details right now (hopefully will explain more details later this fall/winter), but we need your prayers. On top of this, I started back full-time teaching this year and am trying to stay on top of the deadlines for my curriculum and the ones I absorbed in my new duties. I LOVE teaching... but am still working out all the kinks in the organization/administrative paperwork that I have to keep track of. Please pray for our family and please pray for my job. I am grateful and blessed to love my job and be excited to go every day, but I am on a learning curve and it's a doozy. Please also be praying for my munchkins, they are also going through a lot right now. Welcome and blessings. May the Lord honor your every prayer and petition! I almost feel like we are in that moment when the enemy is firing all their weapons at us and we are bowed on one knee, under our shields, trying to just hang on and survive... I know that any moment, Jesus is going to step in as our rescuer. I have a unique opportunity to share the gospel in my classroom on a daily basis; which I think has put a brighter target on my back. Please continue to pray for us that we will stand strong in our faith through all these trials because the end of the battle is near and we all just need to keep holding on a bit more trusting that Christ will return soon. I was a teacher in my earlier life and understand the oppression of teachers with Faith in God. The educational system ensures that everybody is tolerant of every person and every religion -- except for Christianity and Jesus. There is absolute disdain and aggression towards Christianity/Jesus.
