I often see used masks (not just the paper disposable ones but the cloth ones) left on the sidewalks and in the parking lots.  Most stores, by the exit doors, have a special container designated for you to drop the used masks in but apparently people rather just litter ...  it is gross to see.   I’m always picking up golf tees and other sharp items off the ground to toss in the store’s trash cans because I know it might puncture someone’s tires ... and I quickly clean my hands afterwards but no way will I pick up all the used masks/gloves.

Over 1.5 billion of those disposable masks ended up in the ocean by the end of 2020. They have already been found in the stomachs of dead penguins.

Not to mention, if this is such a deadly plague, where are the biohazard disposal bins?
