The Lord reminded me of something today that I wanted to share with my brothers and sisters here on this board.  From my perspective, it is a testimony of His redeeming grace on display.

Back in 1983 (still BC for me), I was a recent college graduate working my first job as a DJ/sportscaster in secular radio at a very small station in the boonies of southwest Wyoming (talk about culture shock for a born-and-raised kid from LA...but I digress).  The station format was Top 40 Adult Contemporary and one of the songs that came out at that time that we played on the station was called "Send Her My Love" by a group called Journey.  I imagine at least some of you are probably familiar with the song.

Well, that song was one of the first songs that the Lord had me rewrite the lyrics to in the ministry He has given me with the rapture warning sign.  As most of you already know, I stand out on the street corner of one of the busiest intersections in our town with the warning sign and sing a variety of songs, ranging from worship to intercessory prayer over the people driving by.  This has become one of my favorite intercessory songs.

So the Lord took a song that an unsaved, lost-as-the-day-was-long Jew use to play for other unsaved people in Wyoming and redeemed it into an intercessory prayer which that same Jew, now born again and redeemed, today sings over the lost souls who drive through this intersection in my town.  Amazing grace.

For those interested, here is the song on video with original lyrics, with the rewritten lyrics below it.  May the Lord Jesus Christ be glorified and His Kingdom expanded in these final hours before the darkness of Daniel's 70th week falls.

Reveal Your Son
(Redeemed Lyrics to the Song “Send Her My Love” by Journey)

It won’t be long
‘Til You come again
They’re running out of time

Grace of God
Calls out their name
How it hurts Your heart to see them cry
You never wanted us to die

Chorus:
Reveal Your Son…power from on high
Reveal Your Son…Truth replace the lies
Reveal Your Son

Open Eyes
Open Ears
Help them to understand
We owed You so much more
Than we could pay
Now it’s grace, by faith, in Christ, alone
Righteous hearts only in You

Chorus Again

Bridge:
Calling out Your Name Lord Jesus
Asking for Your mercy, pleading
Save their souls before the darkness falls

Out:
Reveal, reveal Your Son
Power from on high
Mercy in the sky
Reveal, reveal Your Son
