PASSING THROUGH THE FLAMES

Passing through the flicker of flames,

It doesn’t matter who is to blame,

The fires burn just the same,

In this devilish, infernal, and insidious game.

But hang on -- for the worm will turn,

The fire is hot --  but you will not burn,

This is where the lesson is learned,

That Godly wisdom can only discern.

Trust in our God who rules from above,

Trust in His Will and unfailing Love,

The enemy will rant, rave, push, and shove,

But Jesus will protect each one of His Doves.

From Corona Virus to HIV,

The political left and MSNBC,

CNN and the lies told with glee,

Don't be deceived by those that don't bend the knee!

Don’t let the enemy hold you down,

They delight in every anguished-frown,

They parade as the victors all over town,

But these henchmen will never wear the Wedding Gown!!!

Trust in Jesus, He is our protector!   You can't totally prevent yourself from being infected with germs, but He can protect you from suffering its consequences.

Believe in God and be bold in His power and never let this mortal earth scare you from that truth.

I stand tall in Jesus because I am humble enough to kneel to the ground praising His Love and Power.

YBIC,

Humbly

Tammie and tenderreed:

Thank you for your kind sentiments -- it is nice to know that anything that I write is found worthy by anybody.  In my humbly irrelevant opinion, I really don't think my thoughts are worth much these days anyway.

And I don't want to disappoint you, but I don't leave my "writings in various places as a witness to those left behind" -- I only leave them here. A very large majority of my family, friends, acquaintances, and cohorts at work are unsaved -- so almost none of them want to listen to any inspiration that I may receive from Above.

I don't know how much my musings really provide much inspiration to anybody, but I am content to plant these seeds here and pray that the Holy Spirit provides the water and Jesus brings the increase!

May we all hang together here to save one more lost soul from burning in hell forever -- this will make it all worth it!

I love you all!

Humbly

Humbly,

ok, I’m going to gently admonish you. Our Father has given you a sensitive spirit and the ability to place the thoughts He has given you down on “paper” so to speak. Even if you are surrounded by a whole garrison of lost and rebellious Jewish leaders ( think of the apostle Paul) and the scoffers of today....having them where the lost might find them once the Bride is taken up (oh yeah and that’s you), yet another soul might be saved from the flames. So keep writing, keep looking up, and remember God gave this talent of sensitivity to you for a reason, we here at RITAN get some of the benefits, but others will as well. :prayer-hands: :good:

Humbly,

In agreement with Tammie.  You are VERY gifted in your writing skills and ministering to us.   Even though you might not see breakthrough yet with your unsaved family, friends and co-workers, please don’t get discouraged ... just keep letting your light shine.  The Lord is faithful and will be answering your prayers.   I just said a prayer for them as well.  Keep looking up.

Humbly I agree with you, in that I hope whatever I can contribute here will be a blessing to others.  My heart has always been for the saints who are walking that narrow road.  For as I struggle in this life to work out my own salvation, I know that everyone else does so as well.

But truly light will fellowship with light, while exposing the darkness!  I have to mostly trust lost souls to the unction of the Holy Spirit.

I never understood this verse of what Paul is trying to say ... :feedback

Phil. 2:12

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

My take is: since Paul makes clear points elsewhere regarding works, (Ephesians 2:8-9 for example), that we are well advised to recognize the power and majesty of God -- "fearing God."  That's no different from how it always was from the beginning and always will be. Solomon, in Ecclesiastes 5:6-7, wrote, "Let not your mouth lead you into sin, and do not say before the messenger that it was a mistake. Why should God be angry at your voice and destroy the work of your hands?  For when dreams increase and words grow many, there is vanity; but God is the one you must fear."

We need to be very careful then, constantly seeing God as Almighty -- the one to whom we must give account.  Maybe humbly, like an obedient child working intently to please his or her father and mother.  Therefore the Philippians admonition...

Thank you all for your kind words, and Geri7,  I truly appreciate your prayers for my family, friends, and co-workers  who are lost without a clue as to what is coming upon them if they don't change their hearts very soon for Jesus!

Your pal-soon-to-be-forever-in-Heaven,

Humbly
