I'm having on this Wednesday an overwhelming urge to get married!

Think my wife will mind?!  Doubt it. This is also her chance to finally get the perfect husband!

No doubt the hall will be out of this world!  And exquisitely adorned.  The cool thing is the Father of the bridegroom is picking up the tab.

All dressed in white, glowing white and slightly embarrassed, that's me!

LOL ... yep, the wedding ceremony and banquet feast is going to be out of this world spectacular ... I can’t wait.

I’ve been to 1 over the top wedding banquet party ... it was my uncles back in the summer of 1996.  His wife is shallow and hast to impress people ... so she wanted the best to show off to all his teaching buddy friends that attended.  The wedding and feast celebration were both held at this exclusive resort.  The horderves and drinks served before the wedding in the garden were a meal in itself.  Then the main meal was served inside this one large banquet room a few tables were set up and pretty much every Italian dish was there along with carving tables of roast beef, ham, fried chicken, shrimp :negative: , clams, :negative: , etc. with all the side dishes of vegetables.  Another table was a humongous fruit bar and a salad bar and bread table.  Then in another room was the dessert tables - they had the main tier wedding cake but also there was served various pies, Italian pastries and cookies on tier platters, Chocolate mousse puddings, and outdoors they had the old fashion ice cream vendor stations set up to make your own sundaes.  I found that by accident when someone came inside the French doors carrying an ice cream dish with loads of whip cream, cherries and nuts on top. B-)   It was an open bar for 6 hrs and they hired a band to play for a few hours ... slow dances to break dancing and the Macarena was popular back then.   My cousins, siblings and I all sat at 1 round table.  The table had pitchers of ice water, red wine and champagne bottles ... I don’t drink, so I walked up to the bar and asked for ginger ale.  The bar tender poured it in a wine glass. 😉   When those at my table saw I was drinking soda they wanted the same but were to shy to walk to the bar.  So I was the gopher getting their drinks.  The funny thing was one table apparently was noticing every time I went to the bar ... one stranger approached me and said I hope you have a designated driver ... we counted you walked up to the bar 11 times. :mdrmdr:  I laughed and said well, this is just ginger ale and these I pointed to my table are my siblings and cousins ... and they are too lazy to get their own soda.  Then she started to laugh and said we were all betting on when you would make a beeline for the restroom and were amazed how you were holding up so well.

Anyway  ... I vision the marriage and banquet celebration to be much more grander than that day/night of partying.   See you all there! :good:

Party with untold tomorrows!

Truly, every aspect of eternal bliss will attend us, forever!

A future worth waiting for, and dying for.  As we continue to die to self.
