Happy Orthodox Easter everyone - hopefully the day of our departure! For those of you who my have missed it, rather than bump the thread, I thought I would link back to it - reasons why Orthodox Easter might be the true Day of Firstfruits / Resurrection day according to the instructions given in the Old Testament. One year ago today is also the day that my mom got a head start on me as “the dead in Christ rise first” - so I sure wouldn’t mind seeing her again today if it works out that way. Indeed looking forward to that glorious reunion! TR Whatever day God has chosen will be glorious! And it is indeed fast approaching! Today or not! TR Obviously a day that is not an obvious one?! That’s my guess! Duh! Again, God seems to be working really hard to keep everyone guessing! Fun and exciting on the one hand, while frustrating and disappointing on the other! I hate that other hand! One year isn’t long enough to take the sting out of a loss of this magnitude. My condolences to you, my brother! I hope we all get to meet your mom today!
