If we are correct and are indeed close to the Rapture my question and challenge would be, to find but one person that we would love to have in Eternity with us and pray for them! Just one person, that's all. Forget worldwide evangelistic efforts, forget claiming huge revivals locally, forget fighting with a lukewarm Church! As has been rightly said, we can bring nothing with us into glory, but other people! Simply choose but one person that has burdened your heart, or one person that you would otherwise want to spend eternity with and make him/her your own personal missionary ministry. If no one comes to mind, ask the Lord to put someone in your heart and bring someone to your door! As the Lord's church and heart is increased by one heart at a time! Accepting this challenge will automatically be a win/win situation, for both you and them! There may be friends and family members that academically might be saved, but don't thrive in fellowship with the Lord. There may be an enemy to your soul personally. Or it might be someone that you have kind feelings towards. Or none of the above! Perhaps an unnamed stranger. This is where you can inquire of the Lord and seek out His heart. Then again, only but one person that you can devote yourself to in prayer and intercession! How pleasing this would be to the Lord!!! Happy Praying...TR TR - you are so right, just bring one person closer to the love of God. God himself is working on that worldwide evangelism. :prayer-hands: - Just like in the Parable: - Luke 15:4. What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? That might also be a veiled indication that Christ came HERE to Earth - where there might be 99 other UN-FALLEN Worlds as in: - Job 1:6 & Job 2:1. Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD. Prayers of intercession are the only way I know how to make a friend for all eternity. And if we can call ourselves a friend of God, we can become anyone's friend! TR
5. And when he hath found [it], he layeth [it] on his shoulders, rejoicing.
6. And when he cometh home, he calleth together [his] friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
7. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
