Gavin Newsom signed a bill into law allowing the practice of composting dead human beings to better combat climate change. Citing the high CO2 emissions associated with cremation, the bill will give people the option to give their dead remains over to a process known as natural organic reduction (NOR) should they not want to be buried or cremated. “The process involves placing the body inside a long, reusable steel container along with wood chips and flowers to aerate it – allowing microbes and bacteria to break down the remains,” according to the Daily Mail. “One month later, the remains will fully decompose and be turned into soil.” The California Catholic Conference objected and said human composting creates an “unfortunate spiritual, emotional, and psychological distancing from the deceased.” Kathleen Domingo, executive director of the California Catholic Conference said, adding, the process “reduces the human body to simply a disposable commodity.” California will join four other states in the country – Washington, Colorado, Oregon and Vermont – in allowing human composting. “One month later, the remains will fully decompose and be turned into A new go-green California state enterprise! :wacko: :wacko: EXCLUSIVE: Most Americans Believe Migrants Should Be Sent To Sanctuary Cities: The majority of Americans believe illegal immigrants should be sent to sanctuary cities, a new poll from Scott Rasmussen and RMG Research Inc found. Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis sent 50 migrants last week to Martha’s Vineyard, which advertises itself as a sanctuary city for illegal immigrants, last week, sparking widespread backlash. The new poll suggests that ordinary Americans are actually supportive of the decision despite the media’s negative response. Among registered voters, 51% supported sending migrants to sanctuary cities, 29% did not and 21% were unsure, the poll found. Today I received a call from Chaplain Jeffrey Laird at the North Fork Correctional Center, the largest prison in Oklahoma with over 2,000 inmates at their facility. Chap explained to me that he is a Bible believer who listens to our broadcasts, and when he heard what the Lord did for the St. Lucie County Jail, he reached out to inquire if the same blessing might be available for his people, too. This will be the single largest shipment to date for Bibles Behind Bars, with 1,700 KJVs, 300 Spanish KJVs, and a case of 24 Ruckman Reference Bibles. The Lord is doing something special in our midst. This time I didn’t even flinch (well, less than usual) when I considered the cost of sending all these, because I know the Lord has already touched hearts to supply the need.
