Egg smuggling into the US increases, border authorities report amid soaring inflation:

U.S. Customs and Border Protection recently announced a rise in egg smuggling into the country amid soaring poultry costs and inflation.

According to CBP's reports, egg products and poultry seizures at the southern border were up 108% from October 1 to December 31 last year. The Economic Research Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture noted that during that same period, the price of a dozen eggs increased from $3.50 to $5.30 due to an avian flu outbreak that forced farmers to put down 43 million chickens.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that in December 2021, the average cost of a carton of a dozen eggs was $1.79, compared to $4.25 in December 2022 – a 137% increase.

"The San Diego Field Office has recently noticed an increase in the number of eggs intercepted at our ports of entry. As a reminder, uncooked eggs are prohibited entry from Mexico into the U.S. Failure to declare agriculture items can result in penalties of up to $10,000," De La O wrote.

According to CBP, uncooked eggs are prohibited from entering the U.S. from Mexico because of the risk of bird flu and Newcastle Disease. As a result, eggs seized at the border are incinerated.

With rampant drug smuggling and a migrant crisis at the open southern border, De La O's Twitter post led some users to question CBP's priorities.

Fire Hazard: Norwegian Shipping Company First to Ban Electric Cars on Ferries:

A Norwegian shipping company bans electric cars on its ferries. According to a risk analysis, such vehicles’ fire risk is too significant. An ocean liner had recently sunk because of it.
The Norwegian shipping company, Havila Kystruten, has banned electric, hybrid, and hydrogen cars from its ferries. After a risk analysis, it was concluded that the risk to the safety of the shipping fleet was too significant. If a vehicle catches fire, the fire can no longer be extinguished.

The risks for ships from the transport of Electric cars (EV) have been discussed since the “Felicity Ace” sank off the Azores, Portugal, last February. E-vehicles on board had caught fire. The fire could not be extinguished. Finally, the colossal ship sank with thousands of electric cars, including Porsche and Bentley “green” vehicles.

Capt. Rahul Khanna, global head of marine consulting at Allianz (AGCS), a marine insurance specialist, explains that the problem with EVs is that lithium-ion batteries in the cars can actually propagate the fire, igniting more vigorously as compared to conventional cars. A single-vehicle fire could prove catastrophic.  Passengers would also be at risk.

India Overtakes China As World's Most Populous Nation:

At this point, what we have been speculating about for months looks to be official: India has already passed China as the world's most populous nation.

Citing estimates from the World Population Review, an independent organization focused on census and demographics, India's population was marked at 1.417 billion as of the end of 2022. This marks 5 million more than the 1.412 billion people reported by China. according to reporting by Bloomberg and the SCMP.

China's figure marks the first population decline for the country since the 1960s.  [Due to their one-child policy.]

Half the population is under the age of 30 in India, the report notes.  Nearly 800 million people "still rely on free food rations from the government," however. And estimates for where the country's population is at now range from 1.423 billion to 1.428 billion - a sign that the growth in India is slated to continue.

Fay (22 Jan 2023) from Five Doves
"OH!!  The Truth is Emerging re EV's":

It seems that the whole house of cards is beginning to collapse after this last Davos extravaganza. In the 1st link, we read how a shipping company is now refusing to transport electric vehicles because of the dangerous risk. In the 2nd link, we hear from a chauffeur employed at Davos. He says that he is not allowed to chauffeur the VIPs around in an EV because "they are dangerous."

So - EV's for the commoners and fuel cars for the 'elites' !! This is going to have major repercussions because it affects huge car manufacturers the world over. If the 'elites' deem EV's dangerous, there is no way Joe Public is going to buy one.

It's a given that major car manufacturers will take note of these developments. As will the car-purchasing public! The very foundations of the NWO wannabees is cracking up. Their fall will be swift. Our LORD Jesus must be very close, indeed.

Please let it be so, LORD.

Scripture informs us that all will be revealed before the return of our LORD.
.....................................................

Davos: Electric Cars for Commoners, Fuel Cars for WEF Elites:

In Davos, Japanese journalist Masako Ganaha spoke to a chauffeur who drives the World Economic Forum (WEF) VIPs around. He told her he could not use a plug-in car to transport VIPs. He went on to say that electric vehicles are very “dangerous.”

The WEF has made some changes this year. Davos has a heliport so that VIPs can fly around in helicopters again. In addition, there is no longer a CO2 limit for cars.

Twitter boss Elon Musk finds it “ironic” that the WEF VIPs prefer fuel cars, as the Tesla Model Y is the best-selling car in Switzerland. In other words: plug-in cars for the commoners and cars using fossil fuels for the Elites.
