One Globalist camp had its views expressed by Henry Kissinger and called for Ukraine to surrender the Donbas and whatever additional Ukrainian territory Putin wants and thus avoid WWIII. The other Globalist camp had its views expressed by George Soros who called on the West (i.e. NATO) to embark immediately in an armed intervention on Ukraine's side to thoroughly defeat Russia, and thus Putin, in order to avoid WWIII. Judging by the scale and scope of the heavy weapons (155mm Howitzers and Harpoon ASWs) the West is fast-tracking into Ukraine it is the Soros camp's view that will likely prevail but to the opposite effect of causing WWIII.
