Lord, Your Bride awaits with the greatest anticipation and longing within our hearts to be in your presence!

Thy will be done, your kingdom come!

As we see the day approaching Lord, fix and establish our hearts upon you!

Let us look up and rejoice as our redemption draweth nigh!

How glorious this love affair between God and man!

Let the romance begin!

the biggest thunder and lightning storm we have ever seen happening now over Departure Bay. I wonder when the dead in Christ rise first if there will be kabooms like there is tonight!

my husband says those kind of lightening storms are in Quebec. never seen one like it in BC. God's power is over all. When its the right day and the right time in God's plan, nothing will stop the dead in Christ from rising first, and then we who are alive and remain will be changed and rise to meet Jesus and the other saints in the air

the bible tells me so

Waiting to hear that loud shofar, can you picture it, whooshed upward in a nanosecond— there goes grandma right in front of ya! Maybe it will be like a lightening storm, best one ever! :yahoo: :prayer-hands:

Have you ever had one of those moments where you thought it was beginning to happen? I heard a strange noise the other day and stopped what I was doing to take it all in. I thought "This is IT!" but alas, it was not. One of these days soon it will be the real thing!

I hate it when that happens!  Maybe next time!

Yes, back in 1980 I heard the trumpet blown.  I was doing homework in my bedroom and jumped up and my first thought was “yes! this is it and I don’t have to study any more for this test!” :yahoo:   I quickly left my bedroom to see if my family  heard it too.  They did ... and we were wondering why we weren’t flying upward.  Then there was a pause and then the trumpet started up again.  By this time we realized the noise wasn’t coming upward but from next door.  Apparently the neighbor’s son was taking trumpet lessons and she told him to open up his bedroom window because he was given her a headache.  He even took the screen off as he leaned out his window.  His bedroom was directly across from mine and our homes weren’t that far apart - (we are talking like 4 cars parked was the distance).  They were also Christians so we called her up to tell her what happened.  She was laughing her head off and didn’t give it a thought we would react that way.  Fortunately her son gave up the horn lessons for the piano.   B-)

Oh yes! That has happened a few times, you get this incredible feeling of a shear moment of complete silence, your head tilts to one side to listen, your heart skips a beat, you hold your breath, look up and find yourself listening intently with total expectation... then you realize, it was not the trumpet, you are not seeing grandma fly up and you aren’t going upward either .... total, wishfulness and longing replace the momentary feeling of expectation and joy! On another occasion I was awakened in the night and felt this odd sense to listen intently, again a brief far away sound and that same feeling as before, nada! Cry Have you ever been so much in deep prayer, that you felt, if you listened hard enough, you could almost hear heaven?  Then some noise disrupts that feeling of listening, longing, and perfect peace, it’s like you stepped to the very edge of eternity for just a brief moment and then it’s gone, just beyond your grasp. I get so excited at times and so tearful with longing, that my soul just cries Abba, can it be now? :prayer-hands: What an awesome Father we have to give us a taste at times of His glorious self.... soon! :prayer-hands:

The 17th of September is my guess!  Exactly 30 days from now!

Then I'll be looking up!  Hopefully for not too long.

It could happen, that's what I'll keep telling myself!
