Hi all. I am in search of a Bible Study in my area, I am near Louisville KY. We home school our son and he is 11. I am really looking to make some Christian friends, hopefully with kids, and we have tried some churches near us and we just never felt comfortable, mainly the prosperity type best life now messages at all of them and my son always felt excluded because the church kids all new each other and he is shy. My dream would be to find a rapture believing Bible teaching church focused on Jesus and reaching the world with the gospel, with people who aren't judgmental. I have no idea where to find that. Any prayer hugely appreciated. Thanks so much. My husband and I know how it is to not have a local community of Believers who really focus on the Lord and where we'd fit in...we are in TX though...will pray for wisdom and guidance for y'all...we may move for work and if so, I pray He will lead us to really connect with others who want to meet for prayer and studying the Bible together to encourage one another in the faith- to walk in the Spirit and let the Lord shape us to resemble His Son - and to really worship, not just go thru motions of traditions- not just a community center or country club type group which is what we've mostly experienced in the small town we moved to almost a decade ago. A (Pre-Trib) Rapture believing group would be icing on the cake! I hear a guest speaker named Jesus Christ will soon be starting bible studies! Their to die for! TR My home town and half my kin live in Shepardsville, KY, but most are not believers so they either don’t go to church or go to very liberal ones! I’ll ask around, I’m in VA now and as most of my life has been as a traveler, only visiting family ....
