One guy suggested getting an old thick book and carving out a space in the pages deep enough to hold a few chocolate candy bars and leave on the coffee table in plain sight.  But if I  did that … my dog has such a strong scent … he would go after that book and tear it apart and then eat the chocolates! B-)

One lady had a problem in work with her male co-workers stealing her chocolates at her desk.  So she brought in a tampon box and filled it with snicker bars and that solved that problem.  They didn’t dare open THAT box. :mdrmdr:

Another had a problem with her DOT candies so she did this …

Have any of you combined the same looking candies in one large bowl?

This lady did at work and some guy freaked out … :mdrmdr:

You never know where someone will look and why they are looking there. When I was a kid we were not allowed to leave the table until we finished our meal. One day my mom gave me a fried fish sandwich for lunch. I was a very finicky eater back then ( I was six or seven) and didn't like fish sandwiches but I knew I had to eat it or I would be stuck at the table. My mom left the room and as I sat there I saw the antique coffee grinder in the next room and though "Hey! I'll hide the sandwich in there and afterwards will through it away". Great plan! My mom knew no better and off I went. Well, I forgot to go back to dispose of the evidence. Fast forward to Thanksgiving that year. We are all sitting around the dining room table when my grandfather, who was telling a story, reached over to the coffee grinder and picked it up. That's when I remembered the fish sandwich hidden in the little drawer where the coffee grinds go. And wouldn't you know it. He just had to pull that stupid drawer out while telling his story and there it was in all of its moldy glory! LOL :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr:

Tweety saying that this looks like a safe place to hide and actually going into a can of cat food is hilarious.

One of the disadvantages of getting along in years is that all my grandchildren are now too old to go trick-or-treating.  Sigh.  Cry
I used to have a grandson living in our home who disliked chocolate.  Can you imagine such a thing?? He would open his sack, take out all the chocolate he had received, and put it into a bowl.  Yum!
