Beginning today, forum topics will display the most recent replies first (while keeping the original topic post at the top), so you no longer have to navigate through multiple pages to find the latest conversation. You only eat it as a last resort. 😉 :mdrmdr: The irony is … this cake is considered a Roman soldier “survival cake” and in the midst of this pandemic and with the stores running out of food … the other day I noticed in this one local store they have the candied fruit in the plastic containers stacked up. I’m seriously thinking on buying some to make a cake since it will take years before it goes bad. And those that are not a fan of fruitcake … can you just see it now … they maybe forced to eat it to survive this winter and perhaps they will learn to like it? B-) Or perhaps not. :mdrmdr:
