I don’t know why so many don’t like this wonder cake … with all the candy, raisins, dates & nuts inside. :yes: Ok, I will cave and throw in the bean salad as another beverage option. I wonder if this will tempt Tammie, T.R. and Yohanan into the club? B-) Ah — sorry that would be a huge no — funky cake has never been a fav of mine …. It’s like eating and re-eating the whole fruit and nut basket with a bit of grit thrown in all at once …. What is your favorite dessert question is such a hard one. I would go with the flan, although I love the cheesecake, apple pie, brownies,........... I didn't know it is called flan. I know it as "creme caramel". Very nice! I also love "Baba Au Rhum". It is cake soaked with Rhum, has some cream inside and a cherry on top. One of my other favorite desserts is Creme Brûlée— oh my, smooth, light, heavenly! You can add strawberries to top it off, but I prefer it just as it is … yum!
