Let us continue to cling to every spiritual reality!  God's love and promises for each of us, and for whosoever will!

Let us cling to the redemptive work of Christ and His compassionate heart!

As well as the Blessed Hope!  Clinging to eternal realities and joys!

Let us cling on to God, as He clings on to us.  Never leaving nor forsaking!

:amen:   I needed to hear this!   Lately the world news is really getting me down and I find myself being more fearful.    I was reminded last night of these passages to keep my eyes focused on Jesus and His promises!  :bible

Philippians 4:4-9

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Ephesians 5:16-20

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Let us cling to eternal truths!  For God is not a man, that He should lie!

Cling to who is Faithful and True!  Let our expectations fuel our anticipation!

May the innate knowledge of God from our birth grow in clarity, rather than diminsh!

Let us remember how He knitted us together into our mother's womb.  And adorned us with our souls and spirits!

How proud our Father was when we breached into life, created and chosen by Him!

Making each of us His favorite creation!

Do you remember?!

So beautifully said! :good:

I actually don’t remember my first birth.  I only can go by testimonies - I was almost 2 weeks late so not only was my mom thrilled I was finally born but so was her doctor since ... he couldn’t take his mid winter golf trip to Florida ... until I was born.  So he ordered my mom to take caster oil each day and then he up the dose because nothing happened. :mdrmdr:    I was finally born on a big snow storm night and the doctor still couldn’t leave for his vacation since all flights were grounded. :mdrmdr:  Born the week of the British Invasion ... well ...not 1776 ... but the fab 4 and their #1 hit was ... “I want to hold your hand :bye: ”

I do remember my 2nd birth and the joy I had in knowing my sins are finally all forgiven and my standing with the Lord Jesus is now secured and I’m heaven bound! :yahoo:   Later that week I tried to share the Good News with my best girlfriend next door ... I had John 3:16 memorized and quoted it to her.  All she could say was wow that’s a lot of words you have memorized ... that’s it.  Nothing sunk in for her ... as I tried to explain the free gift of eternal life. The blinders were too thick for her to see pass.  We eventually began distance “friends” after that day.  Sad because she copied me in a lot of things but when it really mattered, she didn’t want anything to do with becoming a Born Again Christian.
