Keeping of the Law while an admirable feat, doesn't save anyone.  Anymore than going to church or tithing!

For the rich young ruler when confronting Jesus acknowledged keeping the Law from his youth upward!

But still asked what must he do to be saved?!

Being wealthy was his Achilles heel!

But don't we all have our own?

Truly all are sinners and all sin can be forgiven.  But for the love of anything else set before loving God ( the first commandment), many will be left behind.

After that, doctrinal truth and Mosaic Law will not be considered!  Their shortcoming will be apparent to one and all.

Psalms instructs us to kiss (love) the Son lest we perish!

Again, in Christ's own words, I never knew you!

No relationship had been established!

Remembering the testimony of the last man in line being grilled by ISIS militia.  After seeing a number of men being martyr'ed for Christ, his response was:

Their God is my God!

Or the conversion of the thief on the cross!  No time for Sunday school.  He wasn't converted but let his heart be convicted!

When your mortality is in the balance a certain amount of introspection occurs.

This is when the Holy Spirit convicts us of every sin we ever committed.

The thief on the cross and the man martyr'ed by ISIS were likewise convicted.  But then the Holy Spirit points people to Christ!

It's the Holy Spirit which is the ultimate evangelist!  And only He can save someone!

All we can do is hope to partner our efforts!
