Incense for the Third Temple: Avraham Sand is a master aromatherapist who has been traveling the world for over two decades to create his own organic essential oils. Indeed, Jews bless over pleasant fragrances just as we bless over food and drink. “The ketoret is the most perfect fragrance and is the fragrance of the Garden of Eden,” Avraham said. “This will be the fragrance of the Messiah." . . . we aren’t allowed to burn the ketoret without the Temple and the Golden Altar.” Avraham also explained that the ketoret was archetypal medicine. Avraham explained that modern perfumes and fragrances are manufactured, mostly from petrochemicals, to mimic the natural odors but because they are manmade, they lack the health benefits. “Before commercial perfumes, doctors and healers were the perfumers,” Avraham said. “Because perfume was medicine. It was for the body and soul. That is why it was a central element in the Temple. And in the Third Temple, the ketoret will be natural, precisely as described in the Torah. That meant the tree had been cut down around 880 BCE, early in the First Temple period. Damascus is still reeling from the two Israeli bombings of its international airport in the span of five days. Because the radar was taken out, the airport is closed, and all flights are being rerouted to Aleppo.
