Israel announces halt to electricity supply to Gaza in move to increase pressure on Hamas:

Energy Minister Eli Cohen signed an order today, Sunday, ordering the Israel Electric Corporation (IEC) to stop the transmission of electricity to the Gaza Strip.

The move will not have an immediate effect, as Israel currently only supplies electricity to support the enclave’s desalination plant, with most of the electricity being supplied by fuel or generators.

However, with Israel blocking the supply of fuel to Gaza as part of the hold on humanitarian aid, eventually fuel reserves in the Strip will dwindle, leading to a loss of electricity throughout most of the enclave.

“We will employ all the tools available to us so that all the hostages will return, and we will ensure that Hamas won’t be in Gaza on the ‘day after,'” Cohen said in a video statement after signing the order.

The first step of the effort is the halting of humanitarian aid, which Israel implemented last week. The next stage, which it appears to be implementing today, is the cessation of electricity to the Gaza Strip.

If Hamas fails to respond to these steps, the next phase appears to be calling on the residents of the northern Gaza Strip to evacuate to the south ahead of a renewed military campaign. If talks fail, the IDF is prepared to resume fighting, and according to a report over the weekend in the Wall Street Journal, it would return to Gaza with a much larger military force than it has deployed so far.

Trump has previously said he would support an Israeli decision to return to fighting.

GRAPHIC WARNING: Over 7,000 Alawites and Christians Massacred by Islamists in Syria as Israel Sends the Cavalry to the Rescue:

Ghastly images emerged of the ethnic cleansing of Alawites and Christians by the Islamist HTS militia in Syria, with estimates of over 7,000 dead since Friday. Israel responded to appeals for aid by Alawite leaders with air strikes Monday night.

Mainstream media continue to ignore the ongoing genocide in Syria as the Islamist Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) militia went on a klling spree in Latakia province, where the Alawite minority lives.

Desperate Christians appealed for help on social media.

Richard Spencer’s Jihad Watch posted a video of a Jolani-affiliated militant commander openly calling for the slaughter of Alawite women and children over his microphone:  “To the Mujahideen, do not leave alive any Alawite, male or female. The most respected among them will be slaughtered. The most respected Alawite woman will be slaughtered. Slaughter them all, including the children in the bed. These are pigs. Take them and throw them into the sea”.

Pamela Geller posted a desperate appeal from Syria:
“I apologize for writing to you from a fake email, but I fear for myself if my identity is known, I am a Syrian Alawite citizen, I beg you with all forms of begging and request, help us stop the rivers of blood in Syria, the blood of the Alawites fills the streets, the New Syrian Army led by al-Julani is a terrorist army of mercenaries, more than 4 thousand have been killed so far and the media does not follow and film more than hundreds, at every moment columns of extremist Islamic jihadist mercenaries are killing innocents, burning homes, stealing and looting, we no longer have any hope of life on this earth, please help in any way, we ask for protection from any country in the world to enter Syria instead of al-Julani and his mercenaries, America, France, Israel, Russia.. any country, the important thing is to get rid of these mercenaries and save what remains of humanity.

The number of victims ranges between 7,000 and 10,000, according to reports.

Alawite leaders appealed to Israel for help:

“We announce our demand for the Israeli government, represented by its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to provide protection, aid, assistance and support, because the entire world has remained silent about our injustice, and we have only heard a voice from the State of Israel condemning the crimes committed by the Damascus government against the Alawites, and we thank it for that.

We say to the Jewish state, we extend our hands to you and we will be your best and most loyal friends, so that you can rid us of this extremist Islamic rule ....

Katz said Israel would “ensure that southern Syria remains demilitarized and free of threats, and we will protect the local Druze population,” warning that “anyone who harms them will face our response.”

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar slammed European leaders for their willingness to engage with Al-Sharaa.

“Europeans flocked to Damascus in recent months to shake his hand, but he and his men were jihadists and have remained so, even if they now wear suits,” Sa’ar stated, urging the international community to condemn what he described as the “barbaric murder of civilians.”

Trump’s Big Deal: A New Dubai for Palestinians, Paid by Their Neighbors:

Donald Trump loves a deal.  Now, as he settles into his second term, it’s time for an even bolder play: force the Arab world to build a new home for Palestinians, a mini-Dubai carved from the desert, and make it clear the U.S. isn’t footing the bill. It’s the kind of brash, outside-the-box move only Trump could pull off—and it might just work.

Picture this: a gleaming city rises from the sands of Jordan or Egypt’s Sinai, housing millions of Palestinians displaced from the West Bank and Gaza. Not as fancy as Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, but good enough—roads, homes, jobs, a fresh start. The catch? Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar pay for it, not Uncle Sam. Trump could sell it to his base in a heartbeat: “No more American tax dollars propping up UNRWA or policing the Middle East. Let the oil-rich Arabs fix their own backyard.”

A Palestinian city could cost $50-100 billion; for scale, that is about as much as democrats spend on gender affirming care around the world —peanuts for the Gulf states, whose combined GDP tops $1.2 trillion. They’ve got the cash and the construction crews. . .

Why would Arabs listen? Self-interest....  The Palestinians? Trickier. Hamas and the PA thrive on fighting Israel, not building cities. Many would scream “sellout”—they want 1948’s lands, not a desert consolation prize. But Trump could pitch it straight: “Your own state, no Jews, all yours.”

The deal could die in the sand—or it could be the first step toward a Middle East where America’s finally off the hook. Either way, it’s a hell of a play.

Influential journalist: Israel will annex a part of Gaza for every hostage harmed:

The proposal discussed echoes one put forward last month by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich who said Israel should seize areas of Gaza if the hostages are not returned.

Prominent journalist and radio and TV personality Amit Segal said that Israel is considering several strategies to pressure Hamas to return hostages, including the annexation of a portion of Gaza for every captive the terror group harms.

The logic behind this tactic is that Hamas is more concerned about losing a foothold and areas of land than they are about civilian deaths.

The proposal discussed by Segal echoes one that was put forward last month by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who suggested that Israel seize areas of Gaza if the hostages are not returned.

Speaking last month at the Sovereignty Conference 2025 in Jerusalem, Smotrich, who also heads the Religious Zionism Party, stated that if the hostages—both the living and the deceased—are not returned by a certain deadline, “Israel will expand the agricultural areas of the Be’eri and Nir Oz kibbutzim into the perimeter area of the Gaza Strip.”

Kibbutz agriculture, he continued, “will expand at the expense of Gaza—and this land will remain in our hands forever.”

This ultimatum was the most concrete action plan that came out of the conference, an annual event focused on making Judea, Samaria, and Gaza inseparable parts of the State of Israel.

During a later Q&A with Channel 12 News journalist Amit Segal, Smotrich said that in a year from now, Gaza will be “held by us, with fewer Gazans and more Israelis moving there. If we take out 10,000 Gazans a day, within four months, the Strip will be empty. That would be the best solution—for us and for them.”

Netanyahu made ‘brilliant move’ to go back to war in Gaza, caught Hamas completely off guard, Rosenberg tells Evangelicals:

WASHINGTON, DC — The eruption of full-scale war in the Gaza Strip once again by the Israeli Defense Forces has shocked and angered many in the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.

“We've been warning about this for weeks now on ALL ISRAEL NEWS,” Rosenberg told Jody Hice, an Evangelical Christian and former U.S. Congressman from Georgia, who was guest hosting for FRC President Tony Perkins.

“I've been warning that we were going back to war because Hamas does not want to give us back all the remaining hostages,” Rosenberg continued.

“There are 59 hostages,” Rosenberg explained. “We believe that 24 of them, or so, are still alive. The rest are dead bodies, killed by Hamas.”

“The problem,” Rosenberg noted, “is that we always knew that we were going to get to a point where Hamas would not deal. Why? Because once they give us all the hostages back, they know we are going to destroy them unless they negotiate some pathway to leave Gaza forever and never come back.”

The real problem is that ‘Hamas has said no – twice – and Netanyahu said, ‘Look, I’m not going to sit around and just not fight while we continue negotiating and they [Hamas] keep saying no.’”

“Netanyahu decided to take the gloves off and strike when Hamas least expected it,” Rosenberg said, making it clear that he thinks the prime minister is making the absolute right decision, despite the risks.

“By striking now, when nobody expected it – including Hamas – that was a brilliant move,” Rosenberg said.

Is Netanyahu relaunching the war – with President Trump’s full blessing – to force Hamas to come back to the negotiating table and persuade Hamas to give up more hostages – even all of the live hostages and the dead bodies – so that Netanyahu can say, “Okay, I'll pause fighting if you're gonna start letting people out”?

Or, has Netanyahu decided there's no other option than going back to full-scale war in Gaza because he’s concluded that Hamas has no intention of giving any more hostages back?

“I don't know the answer to that question,” Rosenberg conceded.

“I do believe at some point, whether it's right now or in a few weeks, we're going back to [full scale] war to finish Hamas off, to vanquish them, forever and ever and ever,” Rosenberg explained.

Suspicious balloons launched from Palestinian villages:

Israelis report detecting balloons lifting of from PA cities towards Israeli territory. The IDF claims that they are floating lanterns launched to celebrate Ramadan.

In recent days, there has been a worrying increase in reports of suspicious balloons launched from dozens of Palestinian villages across Judea and Samaria.

In some places, this is the first time such a phenomenon has occurred, which increases the concern among Israelis living in the area.

Israelis living in the area complained to Samaria Brigade commander Ariel Gonen: "The launch of incendiary balloons is a direct threat to our security and to our daily lives, and we cannot accept a situation where there is no appropriate response. Action must be taken decisively against the relevant parties and a clear security response must be demanded. The security of israelis must be at the top of the priorities. We expect to see clear steps that will ensure our safety and the safety of our children – before it is too late."

Other Israelis noted the danger posed by the launched balloons, as many of them appear to be connected to fire and could cause extensive fires in fields and residential areas. "Even if there is no explosive material in the balloons, they could ignite fields and harm Israelis. This threat must not be ignored."

‘Leave it to us’: US wants to Israel refrain from responding to Houthi attacks:

The Houthis fired missiles into Tel Aviv and Jerusalem for the first time in two months.

As US officials discuss a potential response to Houthi missile attacks, they are requesting that Israel refrain from striking Yemen.

The message from the US to Israel is “Leave it to us.”

It is believed that Israel will honor the request of the US.

The US told Israel not to strike Houthi targets in a similar way to past IAF missions, because the US says it can carry out more comprehensive attacks from its aircraft carriers.

On Thursday, the Houthis fired missiles into Tel Aviv and Jerusalem for the first time in two months.

Israel intercepted the missiles and there were no injuries.

In response, Israel struck the port city of Hodeidah in Yemen.

US President Donald Trump took to social media to declare that US airstrikes against the Houthis “will get progressively worse,” and that the terror group “will be completely annihilated!”
