Amir Tsarfati, Novemver 22:

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced that he would invite Prime Minister Netanyahu to visit Budapest and pledged not to arrest him, even though Hungary is a member of the Rome treaty that anchors the authority of the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Orban heads the rotating presidency of the European Union.

Amir's weekly email newsletter snippets:  [This first part seems to be a repeat.]

When I speak of hatred of Israel, most people’s minds immediately turn to Iran and its many proxies, including Hamas and Hezbollah. It’s very true – Iran despises Israel to its very core. But you may be surprised to learn that there is a country that the ayatollahs hate even more than Israel. The end game of Iran’s Shiite Islamic regime is not Jerusalem, but Mecca and Medina. And where are these cities? In the heart of Sunni Saudi Arabia.

It is an impossibility for the Iranian regime to gain control of Mecca and Medina with a direct assault. The Saudi’s military is strong, and their oil is plentiful enough that most of the western world would spring to their defense. So, instead the ayatollahs are playing a long game. It began after the Iranian Revolution with the creation of a corridor of influence that stretched through Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon towards the Mediterranean Sea. Now, they’re also looking south, bringing Yemen and Qatar into their pocket. If their strategy plays out, Jordan will be next, then the Gulf states like the UAE, Bahrain, and Oman. Looking at a map, it becomes obvious what Iran is doing. It is surrounding Saudi Arabia, cutting them off from any neighborly help. The stranglehold Iran could put on the Saudis would eventually force the Sunni kingdom to their knees.

It is very true that Iran hates Israel for a whole lot of reasons. But looking at this strategy we see that, in reality, the Jewish state is a means to an end. If Iran as leader of a great Muslim coalition were to take Israel, it would place the al-Aqsa mosque wholly in Islamic hands. But even more so, it will ensure that Saudi Arabia is caught in a steel vice that will squeeze until Mecca and Medina are finally in Shiite hands.

This is one more reason why Iran needs to be stopped. Toppling the ayatollahs’ regime would save the oppressed Iranian people, bring relief to the Saudis, stabilize the region, and serve as a death sentence to the proxy militias in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen. It may also cause Qatar to stop funding Hamas. Ultimately, as followers of Scripture, we know that Persia (Iran) will join a future coalition against Israel, as told in Ezekiel 38. Is the end game of Mecca and Medina their reason? Maybe. What we do know is that whether under these ayatollahs or under a regime that might replace it, Iran will pitch in with Russia, Turkey and others to destroy Israel. And they will fail.

BREAKING NEWS: The Hague Issues Arrest Warrants Against Netanyahu and Gallant
Just today, the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague has charged Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant with “crimes against humanity and war crimes” for their supposed maltreatment of civilians in Gaza. This appalling move was immediately met with derision by both Israel and the United States.

Do these charges mean that Netanyahu is going to jail? Absolutely not. It does, however, restrict his travel to many western nations, including The Netherlands, site of the recent pogrom on Israeli soccer fans, which has already announced that they would obey the order. But if the prime minister wants to go to the United States, he will find no restrictions other than not going to Dearborn, Michigan, whose mayor, Abdullah H. Hammoud, has already announced that he will arrest him on the spot. In all of this ridiculousness, the promise of the Muslim enclave of Dearborn’s mayor is the only action that is not surprising.

Ceasefire in Lebanon?
Israel is cautiously optimistic about a US proposal for a ceasefire in Lebanon. There are still two sticking points from Jerusalem’s point of view. First, there is the question of the extent of Israeli freedom of action in the event of a Hezbollah violation. The second is regarding the composition of the supervisory committee in Lebanon.   If these issues are able to be satisfactorily dealt with, there could be a ceasefire within a week. It will be none too soon for Hezbollah, because the groundswell of Lebanese citizens against the terrorists continues to grow.

Hezbollah’s New Secretary General Threatens Israel
Naim Qassem, Hezbollah’s new secretary general following the targeted killing of his predecessor, is making the most of his few remaining days on this earth by uttering threats against Israel.

Gaza Ceasefire Shot Down
The UN Security Council voted 14-1 for a resolution that would demand an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Despite the overwhelming support, it didn’t pass because the one dissenting vote was the United States which is one of five nations that holds veto power. US deputy ambassador Robert Wood stated, “We made clear throughout negotiations we could not support an unconditional cease-fire that failed to release the hostages.”

Netanyahu in Gaza
Even with the battle raging in northern Gaza, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made his way to the Netzarim Corridor on Tuesday. Standing alongside new Defense Minister Israel Katz, the PM reiterated his pledge that “Hamas will not be in Gaza.” He also reminded Gazans of a pledge he had made earlier; there will be a reward of $5 million and safe passage out of Gaza for anyone who turns over a hostage.

UNRWA Again Shows Its Colors
One hundred and nine aid trucks drove into Gaza to deliver humanitarian supplies. On the way, 97 of them were violently attacked and looted by armed Palestinians. Who’s to blame? If you ask the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), not surprisingly they’ll say Israel. ... Not only do we have to fight in Gaza, but we have to help feed their people and guarantee the safety of humanitarian aid. When has that ever been required of a military? Then, when the Palestinian gangs and terrorists start stealing the aid, we’re to blame for it? UNRWA is a joke.

Iran on the Cusp of Going Nuclear
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which is the United Nations’ nuclear watchdog, reported that Iran is “just a short, technical step away from weapons-grade levels of 90%.” And, if the IAEA is only now getting around to admitting to this, we can be assured that they’ve had weapons-grade uranium for months now.

Ukraine Upgrades it Weaponry and Russia Responds with Nuclear Threats
This last week marked Day 1000 since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine War, a conflict which shows no signs of abating. If anything, the fight is ramping up. Ukraine has used for the first time American ATACMS long-range missiles which have the capability to hit deep into Russia.

Mysterious China being Mysterious China
Last year, the Chinese vessel New Polar Bear severely damaged the undersea gas pipeline, Balticconnector, which linked Finland and Estonia. Finland’s Minister of European Affairs Anders Adlercreutz said of the purposeful nature of the incident, “I’m not the sea captain. But I would think that you would notice that you’re dragging an anchor behind you for hundreds of kilometers.” It took seven months to get it back online. Now it appears that the Chinese vessel Yi Peng 3 severed two fiber-optic undersea cables this past weekend, one connecting Finland and Germany and the other linking Sweden with Lithuania. Either some of these Chinese pilots need to go back to shipping school, or there’s something a little hinky going on.

Report: Trump team already preparing measures against ICC:

Hebrew media reports President-Elect's people have begun preparing to impose sanctions on ICC officials responsible for the warrants against Israeli leaders 2 months before Trump's inauguration.

US President Donald Trump's team is already planning punitive measures against the International Criminal Court in The Hague following the decision to issue arrest warrants against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, Kan Reshet Bet reported Friday morning.

While Trump's inauguration is still two months away and will take place on January 20, 2025, the President-Elect is preparing his response to the ICC's move once he takes office. Sources in Washington told the outlet that "the possibility is of imposing personal sanctions not only on the prosecutor or the court - but also on the judges themselves who issued the order." In addition, there are those who argue that the sanctions should also be extended to the family members of those elements in the court responsible for the arrest warrants.

US House Speaker Mike Johnson tweeted, "The ICC’s decision to target America’s ally, Israel, is antisemitic, reprehensible, and completely ridiculous. It has absolutely no jurisdiction over Israel or the United States, and these illegitimate warrants are an attack on the very concepts of sovereignty and due process."

PM Netanyahu says ICC is ‘an enemy of humanity,’ calls its decision ‘a black day in the history of nations’:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday said that the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague has today become “the enemy of humanity.”

Referring to the court’s decision to issue arrest warrants against him and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant regarding Israel’s alleged “war crimes” against Palestinians in Gaza, Netanyahu declared, “This is a black day in the history of nations.”

“No outrageous anti-Israel decision will stop me from continuing to defend our country in every way. We will not succumb to pressure,” the prime minister promised in a video statement addressing the citizens of Israel.

Countering the accusations leveled against him and the state, Netanyahu said, “We issue millions of text messages, phone calls, leaflets to the citizens of Gaza to get them out of harm's way – while the Hamas terrorists do everything in their power to keep them in harm’s way, including shooting them, using them as human shields.”

“The court in The Hague accuses us of a deliberate policy of starvation. This – when we have supplied Gaza with 700,000 tons of food to feed the people of Gaza. That’s 3,200 calories (per day) for every man, woman and child in Gaza… Yet, just in the last few weeks, Israel facilitated the vaccination of 97 percent of the people of Gaza against polio. This doesn’t prevent the court of accusing us of genocide.”

Florida Rep. Mike Waltz, who was picked by President-elect Donald Trump to serve as his national security advisor, promised that come January, the new U.S. administration will take action against the ICC.

Several countries, such as France, Belgium, Jordan, Canada and the Netherlands, have already announced they will act in accordance with the ICC's decision and enforce the arrest warrants against Netanyahu and Gallant upon entry into their countries.  Jordan’s foreign minister, Ayman Safadi, says the ICC’s decision must be respected and implemented by all 124 member states.

Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg said the ICC’s ruling was “utterly incomprehensible” and does a “disservice to the court’s credibility.”

Hungary’s foreign minister, Péter Szijjártó described the ICC decision as “shameful and absurd.”

Amir Tsarfati, November 23:

Report: The target of the attack in Beirut was Hezbollah's Acting Chief of Staff Muhammad Haider, known as Abu Ali Haider, who served as a close adviser to Nasrallah and a member of the organization's Jihad Council.
.....
Abu Ali Haider was almost the last of Hezbollah's generals after the elimination of his friends. After the death of the other senior members of the organization, he led the campaign against Israel (as the active Chief of Staff). Naim Qassem does not have military knowledge.
.....
Report in Iran: 5,000 additional new and advanced centrifuges were activated at the nuclear facilities in response to the decision condemning Iran by the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

The bread crisis in the Gaza Strip: a demonstration in Deir al-Balah in the center of the Gaza Strip demanding to change the bread distribution system so that distribution stations are placed in front of the World Food Organization headquarters.

There is flour, and there is bread. The Palestinians complain that "powerful actors" take over the distribution of bread, distribute the bread and sell it at an exorbitant price to the population.

They want an international body to supervise the distribution of the bread (baked from flour that entered as free aid to the Gaza Strip), so that everyone gets to benefit from the aid that enters the Gaza Strip.

Mossad investigating missing Chabad emissary in Abu Dhabi, may have been under Iranian surveillance.
The missing Chabad envoy in Abu Dhabi is Rabbi Tzvi Kochan, who lost contact on Wednesday. Suspicion is growing that he was killed by hostile entities.
.....
Some additional details about the drama in the Emirates and the disappearance of the Chabad emissary:
This is the assistant of the chief emissary of Chabad in the country. According to the details in the hands of the Israeli security establishment, he was followed by hostile terrorist elements on behalf of Iran.

The suspicion that he was murdered and not kidnapped, as they are [saying] during Wednesday, is getting stronger.
It appears that the murderers managed to escape (probably to Turkey), it is not clear where his body was taken.
Israeli intelligence officials went to the Emirates to investigate the case.
.....
IDF spokesman:
This evening the terrorist organization Hamas released a document in which a kidnapped woman is allegedly seen killed. We are checking the information and at this stage we are unable to verify or refute it. IDF representatives are in contact with her family and are updating her with all the information available to us.
Hamas continues to use psychological terror and behave in a brutal manner.

Terrorist sympathizers took over the streets of Montreal committing arson and destruction while Trudeau boogied at a Taylor Swift concert.
.....
The IDF completed the third wave of attacks today against terrorist targets in Beirut - Hezbollah military headquarters were attacked.
.....
Reports of Intense gunfire around the Israeli Embassy in Jordan.
Jordanian police officers have killed the attacker, and 3 members of the security forces have been injured.
.....
In recent days, we have witnessed an increase in fake reports from Hezbollah regarding their actions against Israeli targets, both in southern Lebanon and inside Israel. This surge in misinformation is a sign of weakness, confusion, and an attempt to retain support from the "resistance" movement.

In reality, the organization has never been more desperate for a ceasefire, but like Hamas, their Islamic-Jihadist pride and sense of calling cause them to reject any possible solution.
For us, this situation is advantageous because once we reach a ceasefire—and we will—the terms will be much better and the devastation for the enemy will be greater.

Amir Tsarfati:

The leader of the Conservative Party in Canada, Pierre Poilievre, wrote these words to the most gaining Canadian prime minister ever, Justin Trudeau:

“You act surprised. We are reaping what you sowed.
This is what happens when a Prime Minister spends 9 years pushing toxic woke identity politics, dividing and subdividing people by race, gender, vaccine status, religion, region, age, wealth, etc.
...You opened the borders to terrorists and lawbreakers and called anyone who questioned it racist.
You passed laws that release rampant offenders from prison within hours of their 80th arrest.

Report: Lebanon agreement finalized, awaiting Lebanese approval:

Israeli sources indicate the agreement with Lebanon is finalized, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is now considering how to present it to the public.

According to Kan 11 News, Israel has given the green light to the American mediator, Amos Hochstein, to progress toward the agreement.

Netanyahu convened a limited security consultation on Sunday evening with select ministers. The discussions focused on the IDF's freedom of action in the Syria-Lebanon border area. According to sources familiar with US policy, Jerusalem has received assurances from Washington for freedom of action in the event of a breach of the agreement.

Following Sunday's consultation, an Israeli official told Kan 11 News, "A final green light has not yet been given to the agreement with Hezbollah - there are still issues that need to be discussed and solved."

At the same time, the official stressed, "We are getting closer."

Lebanon has not yet indicated its attitude towards the proposal.

Israel prevented Iranian plane from landing in Damascus:

Syrian opposition media are reporting that an Iranian Mahan Air flight which left Tehran for Damascus on Thursday, had to turn around due to an Israeli warning.

The plane was recorded returning to Iran after the pilots decided, on orders from higher up, not to land in Syria.

According to the reports, the plane was carrying a cargo of ammunition and intended to land in an airport controlled by the Russians, who prevented it from landing, fearing an Israeli strike.

On the same day, it was reported that another flight returned to Tehran under similar circumstances. Syrian opposition sources claim that incidents such as these have been reoccurring often lately.

Amir Tsarfati, November 24 continued:

Prime Minister Netanyahu reveals in closed discussions the strategy vis-a-vis Lebanon
The prime minister warned in discussions in recent days: "There is a 'danger' in the time left for the Biden administration to take unilateral American steps similar to the end of the Obama era. Therefore, the right thing right now is to go to a settlement with Lebanon subject to an American commitment that we will respond to any violation."

The fundamental condition in the matter is that we decide what is considered a "violation". During this time the reservists will rest and fill the missing armaments.

In addition, there is an interest in disconnecting the arenas. As soon as we signed a "ceasefire" against Hezbollah, even though they always tied it to a similar truce against Gaza - we subdued them and severed ties between them. That way they will remain isolated and the pressure on them to go to the kidnap deal will increase."
.....
Israel is expecting another very intense day with hundreds of rockets from Lebanon.
Hezbollah is increasing the fire in preparation for a ceasefire.
If you ask me - that alone is a reason why a ceasefire isn’t to be taken seriously with these monsters!
.....
Details of the emerging agreement with Lebanon:

- Hezbollah will withdraw its forces to the north of the Litani River, in accordance with UN Resolution 1701.

- The Lebanese army and UNIFIL forces will be deployed in southern Lebanon and will be responsible for enforcing the agreement.

- In the event of any violation of the agreement, Israel retains the freedom to conduct military operations across Lebanon, subject to American approval.

- No security buffer zone will be established.

- Residents of South Lebanon will be permitted to return to their homes and rebuild, even if just a few feet from the border.

Background of the Move:

- The impetus for this agreement stems from the fear that without a deal, the matter would be escalated to the UN Security Council where the Biden administration might not exercise its veto.

Regarding the Agreement:  - The first two points mirror previous agreements that have not been adhered to, casting doubt on their enforcement now.
- However, the clause granting Israel freedom of action is a notable inclusion, albeit with the caveat that Israel must first secure American approval before any military operation. This condition poses a potential challenge, particularly under the current Biden administration, where alignment of interests could differ from what might be expected under a Trump administration, where there might be greater sympathy towards Israel's position.
.....
After a night of attacks in Beirut and a difficult day for the residents of northern Israel with about 300 launches yesterday, the reports coming out this morning from the two warring sides are very optimistic.

Unless a complete and unexpected surprise happens, a ceasefire agreement should be signed in the next few days, perhaps by the end of the week.

Until then each side will want to flex its muscles, just as happened yesterday.
.....
After North Korea, Yemen is now another supplier of meet fodder to help Russia in the war against Ukraine.
.....
November 25
.....
Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei:
"The arrest warrant against Netanyahu is not enough, death penalty must be demanded."
All this while the people are chanting: “death to Israel, death for America.”
.....
Former Lebanese President Amine Gemayel: “I warn that the current ceasefire agreement will strengthen Hezbollah, serve as a ticking time bomb, and ultimately pave the way for another war.”
.....
From what I can see online - the Christian population in Lebanon is strongly opposing any ceasefire with Hezbollah. They want to see this terror organization destroyed and are willing to live longer in a state of war as long as it will lead to that result.
.....
The Israeli political and security cabinet will meet tomorrow to approve the agreement with Lebanon.
Netanyahu will have a lot of explaining to do!
The displaced residents of northern Israel will not go back to their homes if there is no assurance that Hezbollah is dismantled and gone.
My only hope is that this ceasefire is a way to keep Hezbollah away from southern Lebanon while we are getting ready to attack Iran’s nuclear program - which won’t happen before January 20.
.....
Details of the emerging agreement:

* The IDF will evacuate its forces from Lebanon within 60 days so that the Lebanese army can occupy the territories from which the IDF has evacuated.

* The forces of the Lebanese army will destroy the remaining Hezbollah infrastructures up to the Litani border and in fact the area from southern Lebanon to the Litani river will be under the total control of the Lebanese army (0 Hizbollah lands)

*As part of the follow-up after the implementation of the agreement, a committee of 5 countries was established whose role will be to monitor the phases of the agreement and their full implementation. The additional role of the committee will be to enforce the agreement and prevent violations. If the committee fails to get Hezbollah to enforce fire discipline, Israel will have a free hand to act.
.....
Due to intelligence information - security officials estimate : Hezbollah is preparing to carry out large-scale launches towards Israel, starting in the next few hours (before the announcement of a cease-fire).
.....
Southern Lebanon: The Israeli Air Force was guided by the IDF special forces on the ground and hit a house full of Hezbollah terrorists.
.....
Syrian media report that the IDF recently struck 8 bridges in the Qusayr area, southern Homs. These bridges are used to transfer goods (and weapons) from Syria to Lebanon.
.....
Prime Minister Netanyahu in the marathon of talks throughout the evening: The cease-fire agreement is not ideal, but there is a real danger that the US will impose on us in the United Nations Security Council a unilateral decision to stop the war, when on the one hand there will be sanctions against us if we do not stop, and on the other hand we will not have freedom of action in case of violation. If this happens - we will get both a ceasefire and no agreement - so if it is possible to postpone the end for two months and we have an American commitment to strike for any violation, it is surely better than the alternative.

Do you get it?
The Biden administration is threatening Netanyahu.
.....
What is wrong with Canada?
It seems being visibly Jewish is no longer acceptable in Montreal when near a pro-Palestinian mob.
A local rabbi and his family were instructed by police to leave the downtown area simply because he looked visibly Jewish (wearing a kippah).
.....
Joe Biden is pushing Benjamin Netanyahu to approve the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon in exchange for the removal of the U.S arms embargo on Israel and a US veto in the UN Security Council resolution that will force a ceasefire anyway.

Biden is literally blackmailing Netanyahu while Israel is fighting for its survival.
With such friends who need enemies?
.....
President Trump’s statement after Jack Smith files to drop cases against him:

“These cases, like all of the other cases I have been forced to go through, are empty and lawless, and should never have been brought. Over $100 Million Dollars of Taxpayer Dollars has been wasted in the Democrat Party’s fight against their Political Opponent, ME. Nothing like this has ever happened in our Country before. They have also used State Prosecutors and District Attorneys, such as Fani Willis and her lover, Nathan Wade (who had absolutely zero experience in cases such as this, but was paid MILLIONS, enough for them to take numerous trips and cruises around the globe!), Letitia James, who inappropriately, unethically, and probably illegally, campaigned on “GETTING TRUMP” in order to win Political Office, and Alvin Bragg, who himself never wanted to bring this case against me, but was forced to do so by the Justice Department and the Democrat Party. It was a political hijacking, and a low point in the History of our Country that such a thing could have happened, and yet, I persevered, against all odds, and WON. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Netanyahu Announces Ceasefire with Hezbollah; Israel’s Cabinet Approves:

Israel’s security cabinet approved a U.S. proposal Tuesday for a ceasefire with Hezbollah in Lebanon, following a speech in which Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hailed the achievements of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

In remarks Tuesday evening to the Israeli nation, Netanyahu said (translated by the Government Press Office):

Citizens of Israel,

I promised you victory, and we will achieve victory.

We will complete the task of obliterating Hamas, we will bring home all of our hostages, we will ensure that Gaza no longer poses a threat to Israel and we will return the residents of the north back home safely.

The war will not end until we realize all its goals, including the return of the residents of the north safely home. And I tell you, it will happen, just like it happened in the south.

My friends, residents of the north,

I am proud of you, I am proud of your perseverance, and I am totally committed to your security, to the rehabilitation of your communities, to your future.

To date, thanks to the bravery of our fighters in the IDF, the Israel Security Agency, the Mossad and Israel Police, we have made great inroads into the seven fronts of the “War of Redemption.”

These achievements are a source of awe and admiration across the globe, and they are projecting Israel’s might throughout the Middle East:

First, the head of the octopus – Iran. We destroyed major parts of Iran’s air defense system and missile-manufacturing capabilities, and we demolished a significant component of their nuclear program.

I am determined to do anything needed to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. That threat has always been my top priority and is even more so today, when you hear Iran’s leaders state over and over again their intention to obtain nuclear weapons. For me, removing that threat is the most important mission to ensure the existence and future of the State of Israel.

In Gaza, we dismantled the Hamas battalions and killed close to 20,000 terrorists. We killed Sinwar, we killed Deif, we killed senior Hamas officials and we brought 154 hostages back. We are committed to bringing them all home, the 101 hostages still in Gaza, those who are still alive as well as the dead, and end the terrible anguish of their families. We are of course committed to completing the annihilation of Hamas.

In Judea and Samaria, we are taking out terrorists, we are destroying terrorist infrastructure and we are operating in all of the terror strongholds. There is no place out of our reach.

In Yemen, we attacked the Houthis’ port of Hodeida forcibly, which the international coalition had not done.

In Iraq, we successfully thwarted, and are still thwarting, many drone attacks, and we have many challenges ahead.

In Syria, we are systematically blocking attempts by Iran, Hezbollah and the Syrian army to transfer weapons to Lebanon. Assad must understand that he is playing with fire.

And now, for the seventh front – Lebanon. Hezbollah decided to attack us from Lebanon on October 8th. A year later, it is not the same Hezbollah. We have pushed them decades back. We eliminated Nasrallah, the axis of the axis. We have taken out the organization’s top leadership, we have destroyed most of their rockets and missiles, we have killed thousands of terrorists and we demolished their underground terror infrastructure abutting our border, infrastructure they had been building for years.

We have attacked strategic targets throughout Lebanon and we have brought down dozens of terror hi-rises in Beirut’s Dahieh. The ground in Beirut is shaking.

Citizens of Israel,

Only three months ago, this all would have sounded like science fiction. But it isn’t. We did these things.

... this evening I will bring a ceasefire outline for the cabinet’s approval.

The length of the ceasefire depends on what happens in Lebanon.

With the United States’ full understanding, we maintain full freedom of military action. If Hezbollah violates the agreement and tries to arm itself, we will attack. If it tries to rebuild terrorist infrastructure near the border, we will attack. If it launches a rocket, if it digs a tunnel, if it brings in a truck carrying rockets, we will attack.

I hear the claim that if we enter into a ceasefire, we will not be able to attack and will not be able to renew the war. I remind you, that is exactly what they said when we had a ceasefire in Gaza to release the hostages. They said we wouldn’t go back to fighting, but we did.

They tell me Hezbollah will be quiet for a year or two, grow stronger and then attack us. But Hezbollah will be in violation of the agreement not only if it fires on us. It will be in violation of the agreement if it obtains weapons to fire at us in the future. And we will respond forcefully to any violation.

...Why should we have a ceasefire now? For three main reasons:

The first reason is to focus on the Iranian threat, and I will not expand on that.

The second reason is to give our forces a breather and replenish stocks....

And the third reason for having a ceasefire is to separate the fronts and isolate Hamas....

Citizens of Israel,

In the past year, we turned the tables. We were attacked from seven fronts and we fought back with might. We are changing the face of the Middle East. We are doing all this thanks to our brave soldiers, thanks to your tenacity and thanks to the resolute and smart management of the war.

I have said many times, a good deal is a deal that is enforced, and we will enforce it.

With G-d’s help, we will establish security, we will rehabilitate the north and continue, united, until victory.

Update: The ceasefire will take effect at 10:00 a.m. local time on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers are racing overnight to achieve their last military objectives before the ceasefire, and Hezbollah is firing rockets at Israeli cities.
