Next US defence secretary Pete Hegseth called for new Jewish temple at Al-Aqsa:

Donald Trump's choice as the next United States defence secretary has called for the building of a third Jewish temple on the site of Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.

Pete Hegseth, a former TV show host, was picked by the incoming US President Trump for the role following his election victory earlier this month.

Hegseth has previously touted his avowedly pro-Israel credentials, which derive in part from his fundamentalist Christian beliefs.

Speaking at an event in Jerusalem in 2018 he said there was "no reason why the miracle of re-establishing the temple on the Temple Mount isn’t possible", using the Israeli name for the raised plateau in occupied East Jerusalem where Al-Aqsa Mosque stands.

"I don't how it would happen, you don't know how it would happen, but I know that it could happen - and a step in that process is the recognition that facts and activities on the ground truly matter," he said at the event, which took place at Jerusalem's King David Hotel.

Atop the hill is the vast Al-Aqsa Mosque, a complex of courtyards, prayer halls and shrines, including the golden-roofed Dome of the Rock. The mosque is one of the holiest sites in Islam.

Restrictions on non-Muslims entering the mosque have been in place since the Ottoman status quo designating Jerusalem's holy sites to its sects was established in 1757.

The Chief Rabbinate of Jerusalem has also, since 1921, officially banned Jews from entering the Temple Mount.

However in recent years far-right Jewish activists have regularly stormed the mosque complex accompanied by ministers in the government, and Palestinians' access to the mosque and courtyards has been routinely restricted by Israeli security forces.

Far-right Jewish activists want to build a third Jewish temple on the site where Al-Aqsa Mosques structures and courtyards stand today.

Some, including Christian Evangelicals, believe this will herald the arrival of the messiah and possibly even the end of the world.

@patrician That’s all good and well as it is prophetic, but we all know that our bodies are the Temple of the Lord. That’s where he dwells, not on the Temple Mount.

Amir Tsarfati, November 16:

BREAKING: Donald J. Trump just crossed over the 76 MILLION vote threshold - the first ever for a Republican candidate in U.S. history.
.....
Hezbollah:
We rejected the Israeli-American proposal for a ceasefire.
.....
IS KHAMENEI IN COMA?
The Supreme Leader of the IRGC in Iran Ali Khamenei has reportedly went into a coma at the age of 85.
Shortly before, he secretly appointed his son Mojtaba Khamenei, as his successor.
.....
UNCONFIRMED REPORTS THAT KHAMENEI IS DEAD.
.....
Two flash bombs were fired at Netanyahu's private residence in Caesarea by progressive left protesters who are allegedly protected by Israel's "deep state." The Prime Minister and his family were not there. Allow me to guess that no one will be arrested, even though it's widely known who did it.
The level of corruption our judiciary branch is afflicted by is beyond comprehension!
.....
President Trump is reportedly planning on reviving his “maximum pressure strategy" to bankrupt Iran as soon as he takes office. His transition team is already preparing Executive Orders targeting Iran, including sanctions on oil exports. (Financial Times)
According to the report, the maximum pressure campaign is designed to stop Iran from being able to build up its military and continue to fund its network of proxy groups in the region.
.....
After October 7th, any Israeli leader who dares to contemplate giving the Palestinians a state will be instantly ousted by the majority of the Israeli public. That massacre made it clear to everyone that they don’t want a state next to us; they want a state in place of us.

You might say, "Amir, but it was only Hamas who did that to you..." and my answer would be: Hamas was elected by the people of Gaza and is widely supported by people in Judea and Samaria. Hamas simply performed what most Palestinians dream of but haven't been able to accomplish thus far.
.....
Most people think that Israel is Iran's biggest enemy. They are wrong.

... However, Iran's goal isn't Jerusalem; it's Mecca. The Sunni world in general, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in particular, are the holy grail for the Shias.

The Shia-Sunni conflict traces back to the early days of Islam when, after the death of the Prophet Muhammad in 632 AD, a dispute arose over his successor. Sunnis, the majority branch, supported the election of a caliph, leading to the selection of Abu Bakr, while the Shia believed the leadership should stay within Muhammad's family, specifically with Ali, his cousin and son-in-law. This schism has evolved into broader theological, political, and cultural differences over centuries.

The journey of the Islamic Republic of Iran to reach its goal began in the 1980s with the creation of a corridor via Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon towards the Mediterranean Sea, then to Yemen, and according to their plan - Jordan is next. Qatar is already in their pocket, and now they eye the Gulf states such as the UAE, Bahrain, and Oman.

Israel isn't the target but merely a means to an end.

Toppling the ayatollahs' regime would save the oppressed Iranian people, bring great relief to the Saudis, stabilize the region, and serve as a death sentence to the proxies in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen, potentially causing Qatar to stop funding Hamas.

Biblically, Persia will join the future coalition against Israel in Ezekiel 38. The question that remains is: will it be during this regime of ayatollahs or another one that might replace it?

Oldest known stone inscription of Ten Commandments in Hebrew to be auctioned:

An ancient tablet bearing the inscription of the Ten Commandments in Hebrew is being auctioned in New York on Dec. 18.

The ancient marble tablet is “to the Late Byzantine period, this remarkable artifact is approximately 1,500 years old and is the only complete tablet of the Ten Commandments still extant from this early era,” according to Sotheby’s website.

Sotheby’s dates the tablet to sometime between 300-500 A.D.

The Sotheby’s website says the tablet “was unearthed in 1913 during railway excavations along the southern coast of the Land of Israel, near the sites of early synagogues, mosques, and churches.”

The auction house estimates its value as being between $1 and $2 million.

The tablet comes from the Samaritan religious tradition and excludes the commandment not to take the Lord’s name in vain, replacing it with a command to worship on Mount Gerizim.

The Samaritans are famously mentioned throughout the New Testament, with their practice of worshiping on Mount Gerizim mentioned in Jesus’ conversation with the Samaritan woman.

“Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship,” the Samaritan woman is recorded as saying, referring to Mount Gerizim (John 4:20).

The text inscribed on the tablet to be auctioned is written not in the modern Hebrew script used by Israelis today, but rather in the ancient Paleo-Hebrew script.

This ancient script began to be displaced during the Babylonian exile, and eventually fell completely out of use among Jews following the Bar Kokhba Revolt in the second century A.D.

The Samaritans, however, preserved the Paleo-Hebrew script in use, and the remaining Samaritan community today continues to use a variation of this script.

What does Bible prophecy say about the future of Iran?

Joel Rosenberg unpacks the writings of prophets Ezekiel and Jeremiah to discuss the current critical moment in the Middle East and its future direction on THE ROSENBERG REPORT:

“There are actually two major sets of Bible prophecies that concern the future of Iran. One was written by the prophet Ezekiel. The other was written by the prophet Jeremiah,” Rosenberg said at the top of the program.

“The first is found in Ezekiel, chapters 38 and 39 – what Bible prophecy scholars call the War of Gog and Magog. The second is found in Jeremiah, chapter 49, verses 34 through 39. Both are equally important. Both will come to pass in the last days before the Messiah returns to set up his earthly reign... earthly kingdom right here in Jerusalem, and both might very well speak of the same moment in the future, but describing it from different angles and emphasizing different key points.”

Rosenberg described how God brings a series of messages through Jeremiah that ‘in the last days,‘ he is going to bring judgment on Israel, and also on the nations that have cursed Israel.

“God says, I'm going to destroy the military capacity of Iran,” Rosenberg noted. “There have been judgments of the nation of Iran or Persia throughout history. And so, this is not only a prophecy about the prophetic future, it's also a pattern… It's very specific about the last days, which means that period of time right before the return of Christ.”

Rosenberg explained that while Jesus is the fulfillment of Messianic prophecies about his first coming, not every Messianic prophecy has been fulfilled, indicating that other prophecies will be fulfilled after the second coming of Jesus.

‘I will bring upon Elam the four winds from the four ends of heaven, And will scatter them to all these winds; And there will be no nation to which the outcasts of Elam will not go’ (Jeremiah 49:36)

‘Elam’ is an ancient name for the country we now know as Iran.

“Verse 36 came to pass starting in 1979,” Rosenberg stated, referring to the Islamic Revolution in Iran that toppled the Shah’s regime.

“Iranians scattered. Many Iranians left, fled the country and scattered all over the planet. And if you talk to Iranian evangelical leaders – people have come out of Islam – they've come to faith, but they're Iranians and they live in exile outside of Iran,” he continued.

Then comes a pivot, when God tells Jeremiah that the future is Iran – ‘I will set My throne in Elam’ (Jeremiah 49:38).

“What did Jeremiah mean when he wrote that God is going to move his throne to Iran in the last days? Didn't Jeremiah also write that the Lord is going to take his throne and put it in Jerusalem and reign over the entire globe from Israel, when Jesus Christ comes back to reign over the world for a thousand years?” Rosenberg raised the questions.

He then offered an interpretation, saying: “We shouldn't be upset that God wants to bless the people of Iran. It means that spiritually speaking, before we get to the physical and literal second coming of Christ… He's moving his spiritual throne to Iran. He's going to wipe out the regime. He's going to wipe out their military. He's going to bless them [the people of Iran]. And my view, and the view of all Iranian Evangelical leaders that I know… Jesus is moving to Iran and he's going to turn Iran into a missionary-sending country.”

Rosenberg said that the biblical prophecy tells us that the radical, fanatical, Shia Muslims that right now hate Israel – will be “flipped” with the power of the Spirit and turned into a nation of “Apostle Pauls.”

“Iran is already the fastest-growing Church in the world, and more is coming,” he added. “I believe that God is preparing a massive, brave, courageous armor. You would almost say they're fanatics for Jesus the way you would say Paul was a fanatic… That passion that he used against the Church got flipped in the power of the spirit to be for preaching the Gospel, planting churches, making disciples. That's what's going to happen in Iran.”

Rosenberg concluded his sermon by saying that while we are in the most horrible and dangerous moment in the modern history of the Middle East, God is moving powerfully in the region.

Amir Tsarfati, November 17:

Two flash bombs were fired toward Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's home in the northern Israeli town of Caesarea on Saturday and fell into the garden, police said.
Neither Netanyahu nor his family were present and there was no damage reported, it added in a statement.

We all know who did it because he was already captured and released not too long ago, with these flash bombs in his possession. A corrupt judge thought it was okay for them to be used in the context of a protest.

We don’t need just a judicial reform we need a judicial revolution.

Let that sink in: public praise for an Islamic Jew Hunt celebrated on one of the city's most prestigious stages.

Meanwhile, an Israeli band was banned from performing in the same city, citing so-called "safety concerns."

What we’re witnessing is Amsterdam’s radical left-wing leadership, from its pro-Islam mayor to an increasingly Islamized police force, turning a blind eye to open Jew hate while cracking down on Jewish representation.

This isn’t about art. This is about an ideology that says Islam belongs and Jews (and ALL OTHER non-Muslims) don’t.

Amir Tsarfati, November 18:

In light of the overwhelming amount of junk and fake news about the Third Temple that people have been sending me, here are my thoughts on the matter:

- The Third Temple will not be built in Jerusalem until the Antichrist allows it as part of his seven-year peace deal with Israel (Daniel’s 70th week).

- Born-again, spirit-filled believers will not witness the rise of the Antichrist because they have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, known as The Restrainer. Only after the Restrainer is removed—through the Rapture—will the Antichrist be revealed!
.....
The Jews are being regathered physically today right before our eyes. That means their renewal spiritually must not be too far off!

About 60-70% of all the weapons and means of warfare that the IDF seized in the first days of the fighting in South Lebanon were made in Russia - some of them are old, from the days of the Soviet Union, and some are very modern and were produced in 2020. The IDF does not know for sure whether Russia transferred the weapons directly to Hezbollah, or it was transferred to the Syrian army warehouses and from there "leaked" to Hezbollah.
The weapon with which Hezbollah hit the most IDF soldiers in the war is the Russian "Cornet" anti-tank missile that is found in southern Lebanon in large quantities and with modern models.

Netanyahu Makes Surprise Visit to Central Gaza:

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a surprise visit Tuesday to central Gaza to send a message: that Hamas will not return to power in the territory, and that there will be a heavy price to pay for any harm to hostages.

Netanyahu’s visit came even as the focus in the region is on Lebanon, where Israel and Hezbollah are said to be near an agreement in their ongoing war there, which began when Hezbollah fired on Israeli communities in October 2023.

The Times of Israel reported:

Visiting the Netzarim Corridor in Gaza, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vows that Hamas will not rule the Strip and that anyone who harms Israeli hostages will pay a heavy price.

Netanyahu says that IDF troops in Gaza have “achieved excellent results toward our important goal — that Hamas will not rule in Gaza. We are destroying its military capabilities in a very impressive manner, and we are moving on to its ruling capabilities… Hamas will not be in Gaza.”

Netanyahu also reiterated an offer to pay $5 million to anyone in Gaza who turns over an Israeli hostage. There are 101 Israeli hostages still in captivity, some two-thirds of whom are thought to be alive.

"To those who want to leave this entanglement I say: Whoever brings us a hostage, will find a safe way out for himself and his family. We will also give $5 million for every hostage. Choose, the choice is yours but the result will be the same. We will bring them all back."
