That was very sad. It was so hard to see the picture of the 3 hostages.

Rocket Fired Friday Evening Was Intercepted Over Dome Of The Rock:

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — A rocket fired by Hamas Friday evening during a salvo of rockets towards Jerusalem nearly landed on the Dome of the Rock, but was intercepted by Iron Dome missiles.

Footage of the successful interception was taken from Temple Mount and has appeared on several Arab social media sites. The footage shows the sirens, which rang out over the entire zone of East Jerusalem, and the interception can clearly be seen above the Temple Mount.

Israel’s UN Ambassador Gilad Erdan told the United Nations General Assembly that Israel had protected the Al-Aqsa Mosque, a holy site for Muslims in Jerusalem, from Hamas.

Sharing his speech on X on Saturday evening, Erdan wrote, “Israel is defending Al-Aqsa Mosque from Hamas missiles‼️

“Just as ISIS destroyed mosques, Hamas-ISIS is willing to blow up Al-Aqsa. For Hamas, murdering Israelis is more important than Islamic holy sites. This is what I said today in the UN General Assembly as I showed the Iron Dome interception of a Hamas missile fired towards the Temple Mount. These are the terrorists that the UN has chosen to protect. Unbelievable !!”

US officially announces multinational task force to deal with Houthi attacks:

The United Kingdom, Bahrain, Canada, France, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Seychelles and Spain will join the US in the new mission.

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin officially announced on Monday night that the US and a host of other nations are creating a new force to protect ships that have come under attack in the Red Sea by drones and ballistic missiles from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen, The Associated Press reported.

“This is an international challenge that demands collective action,” Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said in a statement. “Therefore today I am announcing the establishment of Operation Prosperity Guardian, an important new multinational security initiative.”

The United Kingdom, Bahrain, Canada, France, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Seychelles and Spain will join the US in the new mission, Austin announced. Some of the countries will conduct joint patrols while others provide intelligence support in the southern Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

The mission will be coordinated by the already existing Combined Task Force 153, which was set up in April 2022 to improve maritime security in the Red Sea, Bab el-Mandeb and the Gulf of Aden. There have been 39 member nations in CTF 153, but officials were working to determine which of them would participate in this latest effort.

The Iranian-backed Houthi rebels have upped their attacks on vessels in the Red Sea since the start of the Israel-Hamas war on October 7.

Last week, the Houthi rebels threatened to attack any vessels heading to Israeli ports unless food and medicine were allowed into the Gaza Strip.

Two days later, the Houthis launched a land-based cruise missile towards a Norwegian commercial tanker vessel.

A senior Houthi official then warned cargo ships in the Red Sea to avoid traveling toward “occupied Palestinian territories."

Egypt Completes Wall to Keep Out Palestinians from Gaza:

Egypt values its border security.

Egyptian workers recently completed a 8-10 foot concrete border wall to keep out Palestinians.

A security fence topped with barbed wire stands before the concrete wall.  And a series of earthen berms are behind the concrete wall.

Egypt is serious about its border security.

Gaza Hospital Manager: Hamas Turned Us into Military Installation:

Israel’s Army Radio reported Tuesday that the manager of the Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza told interrogators that Hamas terrorists had commandeered the hospital and forced staff to do its bidding, believing that the IDF would not strike there.

An interrogation tape of Ahmed Mohammed Hassan Al-Kahlot, the manger of the hospital, apparently released by the Israel Security Agency (ISA), was the source of the report.

Kahlut is seen on the video telling an interrogator that Hamas used to hide its fighters in the hospital, convinced that they would not be targeted by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Kahlut also said that hospital staff members joined Hamas, and that the hospital had effectively been transformed into a military installation for the organization, including for holding hostages. He also admitted that Hamas had used private ambulances to transport hostages and to transport the bodies of Hamas terrorists.

He added that the leaders of Hamas had turned out to be “cowards” who had abandoned Palestinians to fend for themselves while they themselves hid. “They destroyed us.”

As Breitbart News noted, 70 terrorists in the hospital surrendered to Israel after a firefight last week, and Israeli soldiers discovered weapons inside the hospital — including guns that were hidden inside the NICU unit.

‘Dead men walking: They only have two options: Surrender or die’:

Rejecting calls for early end to Gaza operation, Israeli prime minister vows war will continue until Hamas eliminated and hostages freed.

By David Rosenberg, World Israel News

Israel’s prime minister pushed back Tuesday on calls for Israel to wrap up its ongoing ground operation in the Gaza Strip, vowing to continue the war “until victory” has been achieved.

In a video statement released Tuesday evening, Netanyahu said Israel would not cave to pressure to prematurely end the fighting in Gaza, and called predictions of an impending cessation of hostilities “detached from reality.”

The war, Netanyahu said, will continue until Israel achieves its goals, including the “elimination” of the Hamas terrorist organization and the return of all Israeli captives held in the Gaza Strip.

“We are continuing the war to the end. It will continue until Hamas is eliminated – until victory.”

"All Hamas terrorists, from the first to the last, are dead men walking. They have only two possibilities: Surrender or die.”

Snippets From Amir Tsarfati's e-mail newsletter:

Shalom from Israel! This week around the Christian world, Christmas will be observed. Not surprisingly, it is not a well-observed celebration in my country. There is only a small fraction of us in Israel who recognize that the Messiah has already come, being born in Bethlehem over 2000 years ago. Don’t get me wrong, there is a growing movement of those anticipating the coming of the Messiah. Soldiers can be seen gathered together singing, “I believe in the coming of the Messiah, even if he tarries.” They believe in a messiah. They just don’t believe he’s already come.On the other side of the coin are those who claim to believe that the Messiah has come, but they spread lies about who he is. “Jesus was a Palestinian,” they shout, totally ignoring the genealogies of the Gospels and Jesus’ clear lineage as a Jew. “Bethlehem wasn’t in the land of the Jews when Jesus was born,” they assert. This is simply foolish. Bethlehem was a small but important town to the Jews. It was from this shepherding village that the lambs used for sacrifices in the temple would be gathered. But these lies fit our times. Our world is not into facts anymore. Instead, we are surrounded by deception. Below, you’ll read about the head of a hospital in Gaza who was actually a leader in Hamas. He used his position to ensure the terrorist organization could use his facility as a front for their terrorist activities that took place above and below the ground. This conning of the UN and the humanitarian watchdog agencies took place in hospitals, clinics, and schools throughout Gaza.

This is the time we are living in. The delusion is incredibly strong. We are feeling the soon rise of the antichrist. His spirit is already here. People’s gullibility to the lies of the enemy will only increase as time goes on. Our blessed hope is our soon rapture.

. . . .  Up in the north, I, along with most of my fellow Israelis, am still expecting the war in Lebanon and Syria to launch at the appropriate time. In fact, today there is major activity by the IDF towards southern Lebanon. Other countries recognize this escalation as well. The US, Great Britain, France, and Germany are asking their citizens to leave Lebanon and Syria, along with Iraq and Yemen. We will never be safe as long as Iran’s proxies are just across our border with their weapons all pointed in our direction. Terrorist sites continue to be bombed in southern Lebanon, as civilians migrate to the north.

The Houthi rebels in Yemen, another of Iran’s proxies, have apparently become frustrated at their ballistic missiles being shot down before they reach Israel. So, now they are taking their aggression out on maritime traffic in the Red Sea. They have attacked numerous ships in that waterway and have threatened to destroy any ship even loosely tied with Israel.   A coalition to guard the Red Sea against the Houthis has been formed with the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, France, and the United Kingdom taking part. Other nations have expressed their intention to also join. The Houthis’ threats are making an impact. Already, the six largest oil shipping companies in the world have stopped all of their activity in the Red Sea.

Come One, Come All: Trudeau’s Canada Opens up to Refugees Fleeing ‘Unlivable’ Gaza:

Canada is throwing open the migration door to all extended families of Canadians in war-torn Gaza Strip for up to three years, Immigration Minister Marc Miller announced Thursday.

The move is due to take effect on January 9. It will expand a broad range of categories with which to bring Gazans into the country to claim sanctuary as temporary residents as well as offers of financial support.

Ottawa’s generosity to the Palestinian arrivals comes as none of the Arab countries that claim to love them as brothers are willing to accept them as refugees, as Breitbart News reported.
