As The Gateway Pundit reported just days ago, shocking footage emerged showing an IDF soldier wildly swinging a sledgehammer at the head of a sacred crucifixion statue while another soldier gleefully filmed the vandalism. In a post on the X platform, the IDF said that they were investigating the incident and would take “appropriate measures” against those involved. "The IDF views the incident with great severity and emphasizes that the soldier’s conduct is wholly inconsistent with the values expected of its troops..." From the moment the report of the incident was received, the IDF has been working to assist the local community in replacing the statue.
