Mark Hitchcock's take on the Israel-Saudi deal. They want the deal done before Biden leaves office, some think by next spring to help Biden's campaign. We will be gone before it is signed.  2:15 to 13:00

Around 30min mark they talk about an article where Netanyahu states that even without a peace deal, normalization with Saudi Arabia will happen. I see this as significant because we don't have to wait on the Abraham Accords to be signed since Saudi Arabia could say "Have you come to take a spoil?" just because they are  on good terms with Israel. So hopefully the UN agreement is the one we are waiting on.

Normalization Deal May See Saudis Replace Jordan as Custodians of Temple Mount:

The timing was not accidental when Saudi Arabia announced over the weekend that its ambassador to Jordan will also take on the roles of ambassador to the Palestinian Authority and consul general in eastern Jerusalem.

But Saudi and Palestinian officials also said, “Saudi Arabia wishes to signal to Jordan that it considers itself entitled to set foot in the al-Aqsa mosque in east Jerusalem, which would make the crown prince and the Al Saud dynasty responsible for the three holy places of Islam: Mecca, Medina, and al-Aqsa.”

For several years, Saudi Arabia has been signaling to Jordan that it intends to replace Amman as custodian of Jerusalem’s Temple Mount.

Since the Six-Day War of 1967, the day-to-day administration of the Temple Mount has been overseen by the  Islamic Waqf, a religious trust, while Israel is responsible for security. However, the Israel-Jordan peace treaty of 1994 placed the Waqf under the purview of the Jordanian monarchy. As custodian of the Temple Mount, the Jordanian monarchy funds the Waqf and appoints its leadership.

Dr. Mordechai Kedar [said] . . . "As it is today, Jerusalem is way more prominent in the news, media, and public perception than Mecca. This is an insult to the Saudis.”

“When considering the negotiations to bring normalization between Israel and Saudi Arabia, it is important to remember that the Saudis do not consider the Palestinians to be Arabs,” Dr. Kedar said. “They see the Palestinians as the genetic result of all the nations that passed through the Middle East. If the Saudis take over the Temple Mount, it will be a huge blow to the Palestinians. Without Al Aqsa, the Palestinians have nothing; no connection to the land, no political claim, no claim to status in Islam, even a fake one. If you add to that normalizing relations with Israel, the Palestinians will be off the map entirely.”

Iran’s Defense Ministry unveiled a drone on Tuesday named ‘Mohajer-10’, claiming that the aircraft is capable of staying airborne for 24 hours and has the range to reach the country’s archenemy Israel.

The Biden administration has been busy unfreezing billions of dollars in Iranian assets, and this is one of the many factors as to why the terror state of Iran is not only surviving but thriving. Like the illustration of the attack dog willing to launch itself over the edge of a cliff as it seeks to devour a bird in flight, Iran is a nation fueled solely by hate, and that will prove to be its undoing. But before that day, Iran seeks to do as much damage to the Jews as possible, say hello to Mohajer-10.

“And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.” Genesis 16:12

At some point, as I read Bible prophecy, Iran will advance from being a semi-comical tiny nation into a full-blown threat to the Jews and Israel. You’ll remember that Iran has signed military and economic agreements with Russia and China. In fact, our very first news story of the day on January 1, 2020, a year which will live in infamy, was on the first-ever war games between the 3 nations. When Iran finally comes against Israel, they won’t be alone.

Iran unveils armed drone resembling America’s MQ-9 Reaper and says it could potentially reach Israel

From YAHOO! News: Iran’s state-run IRNA news agency published a photograph of the drone, called the Mohajer-10, on display at a conference marking Defense Industry Day with what appeared to be smoke-machine fog underneath it.

‘Mohajer’ means ‘immigrant’ in Farsi and has been a drone line manufactured by the Islamic Republic since 1985.

IRNA said the drone is able to fly up to 24,000 feet with a speed of 210 kph (130 mph), carrying a bomb payload of up to 300 kilograms (660 pounds). It also said the drone could carry electronic surveillance equipment and a camera. Iran’s hard-line President Ebrahim Raisi, a protégé of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, also viewed the drone on Tuesday.

“Today, we can firmly introduce Iran as an advanced and technologic nation to the world,” Raisi said in comments aired on state television. He reiterated Iran’s stance about friendly relations with “all countries in the world,” adding that Iran’s armed forces will cut off any hand that will reaches out in an attempt to invade Iran, state TV reported. The Associated Press could not immediately verify the claims about the drone’s capabilities, though an arm of state television shared a video of it taking off from a runway. Long-range drones like the Reaper also require ground stations and satellite communications.

Officials in Israel, which flies its own long-range, high endurance drones, did not immediately respond to a request for comment Tuesday.

Iran’s New Drone Targets Israeli Nuke Facility In State Media Video, ‘Mohajer-10’ Modelled On MQ-9?

President Ebrahim Raisi said on August 22 that Tehran will cut off “any hand involved in aggression against Iran”, during a ceremony in which the Islamic Republic unveiled an advanced homemade drone. The Mohajer-10 has an enhanced flight range and duration, as well as a greater payload, according to Iranian state media.

Farmer revives the Biblical Balm of Gilead and Temple Incense:

One very special farmer in the Holy Land is raising rare and endangered plants in an effort to bring back the Biblical Balm of Gilead and the Temple incense.

But Guy insists that he is not religious.  “I am a Jew, and we know that when the Jews are in Israel, the desert blooms,” Ehrlich told Israel365 News. “The Temple just happened to be part of that. The incense was part of that.”

In 2008, Guy Ehrlich was driven to recreate the Biblical Balm of Gilead, renowned for its healing properties. Incredibly rare even in Biblical times, growing only in the extreme heat and saline soil of the Dead Sea area, it disappeared from the region in the sixth century. A German scientist smuggled a single shoot out of Saudi Arabia, and some plants were at the Botanical Garden in Jerusalem. Unfortunately, the climate of Jerusalem was too cold for the desert-loving plants. Fortunately, before they all died, the garden sent some to Dr. Elaine Solowey, director of the Center for Sustainable Agriculture at Kibbutz Ketura. She provided Ehrlich with a beginning for his six-acre Biblical farm. The plants thrived in the Dead Sea climate, and his farm now has about five thousand balsam plants.

Its healing properties were first hinted at by the Prophet Jeremiah: Is there no balm in Gilead? Can no physician be found? Why has healing not yet come to my poor people? Jeremiah 8:22

. . . it is believed by some Biblical commentators to have been carried by the caravan that received Joseph from the pit (Gen. 37:25).

The balm was made from the tree known scientifically as Commiphora gileadensis. The sap of the balsam tree is released by cutting the bark. In the later days of Jewish history, the neighborhood of Jericho was believed to be the only spot where the true balsam grew. . . It was significant as it was used as anointing oil by Israel’s Kings during the period of the Second Temple.

Ehrlich now cultivates around 60 biblical plants on his farm near Almog in the Jordan Valley, near the northwestern shores of the Dead Sea. He creates creams, perfumes, soap, and honey.

Ehrlich’s is the only farm in existence that cultivates Boswellia trees, an endangered species that is the source of the frankincense that constituted one of the eleven ingredients of the Temple incense. The Boswellia tree . . . . has no agricultural cultivation anywhere else in the world except on Ehrlich’s farm.  Top-grade frankincense can sell for hundreds of dollars per pound.  Ehrlich also cultivates myrrh.

His trees have been certified by the Temple Institute for use in the Third Temple, which wants to make sure the raw materials of the incense will be available when the Temple is rebuilt.

His online store offers Myrrh and Frankincense oil, Balm of Gilead essential oil, Balm of  Gilead perfume, incense to be used for the Havdalah ritual, First Temple anointing oil, Second Temple anointing oil, and even Third Temple anointing oil.  It is also possible to sponsor Biblical trees. He produces premium honey from the trees that sells for $1,000  per kilogram. He also produces a perfume he touts as “the scent used by Cleopatra."

But his efforts to revive Biblical agriculture have been hampered by modern politics. One company that partnered with him at first pulled out after pressure from the Boycott Divestment Sanctions (BDS) movement.

From Amir Tsarfati's email newsletter:

Israel to Roll Out Laser Defenses:
In one year, Israel is expected to become the first country in the world to have partial laser protection against missiles, rockets, and other flying weapons. In two years, the hope is that there will be total protection. Not only will this be highly effective, but it will also operate at a negligible cost compared to the $50,000 per shell [of the] Iron Dome.

Israel’s Soaring GDP:
According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Israel’s economy just keeps going up. Currently, the country’s GDP per capita is $55,540, well ahead of most of Western Europe, as well as Japan. Two decades ago, it was only $12,000. The Lord has brought His people back into the land and has caused them to flourish! God is good!

Airplane Full of Israelis Allowed to Make Emergency Landing in Saudi Arabia:
An Air Seychelles flight carrying 128 Israelis was forced to make an emergency landing in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Monday. In days past, this would have led to a very tense situation. Instead, the passengers were welcomed and given rooms at an airport hotel. The next day, a replacement aircraft carried everyone home to Tel Aviv. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recorded a video after the incident in which he said, “I greatly appreciate the good neighborliness.” Just one more reason we in Israel are so thankful for the Abraham Accords of the previous US administration.

Dozens Arrested for Arson in Greece’s Wildfire Conflagration:
As deadly wildfires rage across the nation of Greece, Greek authorities have arrested 79 people on arson-related charges. More than 1.3 billion square meters have burned so far, making it the largest ever in an EU country, and the death toll from the flames is nearing two dozen.

Fascinating, thanks Patricia. I was given some real frankincense from Oman and burn a piece from my stash every now and then. Such a clean, pure fragrance.

Netanyahu silent as Evangelical Christians in Jerusalem see persecution from hard-right Jewish religious groups, why is it happening now?

NTEB

by Geoffrey Grider

The Jerusalem Post reports that ‘Over the past few months, previously latent tensions between extremist Jewish groups and Christians have flared into open conflicts, resulting in incidents affecting various branches of the Christian community. These events have targeted evangelical volunteers engaged in activities within Israel and residents of Orthodox and Armenian Christian enclaves in the Old City and northern Israel.’ Some have linked the recent surge in explicit hostility to the rise of the ruling coalition, which includes several far-Right factions like Noam, Otzma Yehudit, and certain members of the Religious Zionist Party. These parties are staunch proponents of safeguarding Israel’s Orthodox Jewish identity and have openly opposed the public presence of Christianity.’

“These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.” John 16:1-3

On this episode of the NTEB Prophecy News Podcast, we see Benjamin Netanyahuwho over the years has been openly grateful and appreciative of ongoing outpouring of support from evangelical Christian groups in the United States. But here in his 5th term, 5 in the Bible is the number of death and judgment, Netanyahu is doing very little to stem the tide of hate coming from hard-right religious groups in Israel towards Christians in Jerusalem. Now, this could be just a momentary ‘glitch in the Matrix’, or it could be we are watching the leaders of Israel preparing themselves to receive Antichrist as the prophets tell us they will in places like Daniel 9:27 and Isaiah 28:14-19 in your King James Bible. On this episode, we travel to Jerusalem to investigate the troubling turning tide against Christians in Israel.

Yep, they are preparing themselves for Noahide laws and the coming AC king … but no worries … they can’t completely stop the Gospel from being preached.  God will have His 1/3 Jewish believing remanent from the result of the preaching ministry of the 2 witnesses and 144,000.

Revelation 11

And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

Lisa is wondering if it will be the US that attacks Damascus and not Israel?

The U.S. has attacked Syrian army checkpoint.  Could this be the start of Psalm 83 or Isaiah 17:1?

Amir Tsarfati:

Southern Tel Aviv is like a battle zone. Again these are mostly clashes between asylum seekers that are pro-Eritrean government and those that are anti-Eritrean government. The Israeli police tried to dissolve the riots and it turned into a real battle zone!
.................
Netanyahu's Office: A special team of ministers will examine taking measures against the illegal infiltrators who took part in the riots, including deportation.
..................

Barcelona Mayor Jaume Collboni reversed the decision by his predecessor to suspend the Spanish city’s official relations with Israel, including its twinning agreement with Tel Aviv, local media reported on Friday.
Tel Aviv represents “the best of Israel’s progressive values,” explained Collboni, while adding that Barcelona’s commitment to the Palestinian cause was “unequivocal.”

In February, then-mayor Ada Colau released a public letter to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, announcing the end of her city’s agreement of friendship and collaboration with Tel Aviv, citing “repeated violations of human rights of the Palestinian population.”
“At the request of more than 100 entities and thousands of Barcelona neighbors, I have just communicated to Netanyahu that we suspend institutional relations with the State of Israel due to the repeated violations of human rights of the Palestinian population and non-compliance with United Nations resolutions,” she wrote on Facebook on in Spanish, and on Instagram.
