Petition to Supreme Court: Prevent Dumping Garbage within Temple Mount Area:

The Temple Mount advocacy group Beyadenu (Returning to the Temple Mount) organization submitted a petition to the Supreme Court of Israel against the government of Israel, the police, and the Jerusalem municipality, demanding that they act immediately to prevent the Jordanian Waqf from dumping garbage within the Temple Mount area.

In the past, there has been video documentation of waste being disposed of on the Temple Mount by garbage trucks. The documentation shows several vehicles dumping garbage in this holy place without any enforcement. These actions were condemned publicly by the Israel Antiquities Authority.

“It is hard to imagine what would happen if, God forbid, garbage were dumped in front of the Vatican’s Papal residence. On the Temple Mount, the situation is even more severe,” said Tom Nissani, CEO of the Beyadenu organization. “As long as the State of Israel does not show respect for its holy places, no one else will respect its connection to them.”

“Anyone who thinks that the garbage disposal is happening by chance in the Holy of Holies is deluding themselves. There is a deliberate attempt to degrade and humiliate. Preserving the sanctity of the place is a national interest. The Jerusalem police, the Jerusalem municipality, and the State of Israel cannot absolve themselves of responsibility for the actions of the Waqf on the Temple Mount.”

NTEB

by Geoffrey Grider

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke with both Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Monday amid growing talk of a Saudi deal via the Abraham Accords.

Last week, the big headline over at the Jerusalem Post was that Benjamin Netanyahu wanted to sign the Abraham Accords with Saudi Arabia so badly that he was willing to topple his own government in order to do it. That statement gets all the more larger when you realize that what comes with a deal like that is the implementation of the Two State Solution. Does Netanyahu want it that bad? It’s starting to look like that might just be the case, and if so, we’re beginning the transition from headlines to prophecy.

“Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which isin Jerusalem.” Isaiah 28:14

Forget the Benjamin Netanyahu that you think you know, the Bibi we see here in his fifth term is looking for legacy moments, and there’s nothing that says ‘legacy’ like being prime minister as Israel signs the Abraham Accords with Saudi Arabia. Yes, that comes at the cost of the Two State Solution, but it also comes with, possibly, building the third Temple as well. We told you in 2016 that Trump was ‘God’s man’ to advance the prophecy timeline, and the only president who ever would have agreed to the Abraham Accords was Trump. He did what he was put in office to do, even if he himself is not aware of the full impact of that moment. Now it’s Netanyahu in the spotlight to ‘make the big deal’ like Trump did, and I believe we are watching that happening right now.

Jared Kushner's Saudi-Backed Firm Makes First Israeli Investment:

A private equity firm backed by Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund and run by former US President Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, is making a $150 million investment in Shlomo Group, an Israeli conglomerate, in the latest example of growing links between the Saudis and the Jewish state.

Kushner, who was one of the architects of the 2015 Abraham Accords that normalized relations between Israel and several Arab countries, has previously said that he intends to use his fund to create an “investment corridor” between Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Steps of Siloam Pool, site of one of Jesus’ greatest miracles, unearthed in excavations:

The 2,700-year-old site is expected to open soon.

Ongoing excavations at the Pool of Siloam in the City of David have uncovered more steps from the pool,  the site believed to be the location of one of Jesus's healing miracles.

According to the Gospel of John, Jesus instructs a blind man to wash in the pool to be healed.  “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” [which means “sent”]. So, the man went and washed, and came home seeing.” (John 9:7)

The pool, originally built during the reign of King Hezekiah, was constructed to keep Jerusalem’s water supply within the city during a siege.

During the Hasmonean period, the pool was apparently expanded and improved, including the addition of the steps, which were uncovered in the most recent excavation.

The pool was later destroyed and covered over after the Roman destruction of the Second Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D.

In 2004, the pool was accidentally discovered when the Hagihon municipal water company began digging for a sewer improvement project.

Archaeologists working with the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) hope to excavate the entire pool and turn it into a tourism site, as only a small portion has been available to the public since its discovery in 2004.  Earlier this year, the IAA, the Israel National Parks Authority and the City of David Foundation announced that the Pool of Siloam would be opened to the public in the near future.

Ze’ev Orenstein, director of International Affairs for the City of David Foundation, said the path from the Pool of Siloam up to the Temple Mount was “the most significant half-mile on the planet.”

During the Second Temple period, Jewish pilgrims ascended the Temple Mount for the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot). It is believed they would come to watch the priest draw water from the pool in a golden pitcher in a libation ceremony.

In recent years, a group from the Temple Institute has performed a reenactment of the water libation ceremony at the Pool of Siloam.
