Is it just me or is something up?

Wow this Christmas was something else.   It seems like everyone in every family that we are surrounded by are angry, arguing, disgruntled, and falling apart at the seams.   Even my work community is struggling with each other and everyone seems to be checked out.   I'm not sure if my radar is just turned up on high or if the enemy is running around creating havoc knowing that the seconds are counting down?     Am I the only one or is there something in the air that is riling everybody up?

Maybe its not just me. Here's an article by Hal Lindsey.

For educational purposes only.

The End of 2022
By Hal Lindsey
By the end of 2022, eight billion people lived on the earth. They were besieged by a series of plagues, droughts, false prophets, war, the threat of greater war, hatred, rage, theft, and violence. The eight billion were fragmented in a variety of ways — according to their nations, level of income, race, gender, various understandings of gender and human sexuality, along with religion or the lack thereof.
Change became overwhelming to most of the eight billion. For those over 40, it was almost unfathomable that by the end of 2022, not even half the students at Cambridge University identified as heterosexual.
In 2022, deception ruled the day. Trust in government, educational institutions, and the news media had been largely obliterated. Trust in health officials and doctors had become severely damaged. In such an environment, many found it increasingly difficult to maintain friendships. Even families had begun to crumble. When deception rules, relationships die, and loneliness begins to blanket lives.
By the end of 2022, people were offended by almost everything. A public library in Massachusetts refused to put up a Christmas tree. It purportedly made some people “uncomfortable.” The library celebrated Hanukkah, Kwanza, and pride month, yet the powers-that-be deemed Christmas offensive.
After a public outcry, they changed their position and put up the traditional tree. But it raises a huge question. Why would a Christmas tree be considered offensive? Such trees are ubiquitous during the month of December. So, what is the offense? The word Christmas begins with Christ, and an increasing number of people are offended by any reference to Him.
A member of the town’s human rights commission wrote on Facebook, “You – who claim to believe in Christ and Christmas… are the least gracious, most hateful, most disgusting trash in the world…. Is this what you think your magic sky daddy wants?”
She said a lot more than that, most of which I don’t care to quote. I’m sure her profanity-riddled rant against God and Christians came partly because of terrible things people were saying about the town and library. There are also reports of library employees being bullied. That should not happen, and it is certainly not Christian. Later, the woman resigned from the human rights commission. But she represents another ominous trend as we near the end of 2022. That trend is rage against Jesus and His people.
For most Americans, it feels like we left Bedford Falls somewhere along the line, and we entered Pottersville. It feels unreal. Many dismiss it as society simply going through another phase. But these phases are leading to darker and darker places.
Christians can look forward to 2023 with renewed hope, but not because the world is getting better. It is not. More than ever before, it should be obvious that our hope is not in the mechanisms and programs of this world. It is in Christ alone.

Yes, I was just talking to a good friend about the rudeness that just occurred earlier today at the animal vet office.  I brought my dog over to get a Lyme shot and the Vet had to leave early so the technician on duty administered the shot … and we can’t go inside the building … they are still milking the covid plandemic rules  … so she brings my dog outside in the parking lot and throws him at me.  I catch him in mid air and his head bounced up and hit me hard in my 2 front teeth.  My teeth are still hurting …  I’m shocked he didn’t yipe in pain.  And after paying I wished her a Happy New Year and nothing … she quickly walked back inside with a sourpuss face.  It was warm outside and there were no other customers in the parking lot.  Thankfully I normally don’t see this Technician often … the other technicians seem to be nicer and at least show they enjoy their occupation and aren’t rude to their customers.

You just wonder what the deal is … does she have lots of problems in her life?  Or resents having to fill in for somebody?

I can feel its getting darker and darker in dealing with people … going to be nice to leave this place behind …

We are in the final days of the Age of Grace. Our time here is short! I don’t travel like I once did, staying pretty close to home these days so I don’t see friends like I once did and the world has grown so dark so I’m definitely ready for the rapture.  Have a very dear friend who lives far away and I cannot wait until we are no longer apart. The rapture cannot happen soon enough!

She threw your dog to you!? Uncalled for...

Lord we forgive this tech for her carelessness and rudeness taken out on Geri and her pet. Draw her near Lord, remove her burden that has caused the anger inside, heal, restore and bring her to a place of peace in her life and heart within, in her work, in all surrounding situations, and in any and all relationships that affect her life. Touch Geri Lord and remove any pain still there. Thank You Father, in Jesus Name.

Indeed a few months back I also commented on the growing rage and anger throughout society in general!  This is "birthed" in my opinion by hate!  Hate proposed, felt, experienced or vented!  TR

It's not just you Todd. I don't remember how it used to be even 2 or 3 years ago, but maybe once a month there would be news of somebody being assaulted or shot. Now it happens every day and it happens more than once a day.

There has also been so much violence on public transit. There was an article on Natural News on how the shot can affect people's personalities.

however, there could be so many more reasons: lockdowns, extreme stress, hopelessness,..............

In a way I feel that I am using the excuse of all the violence to keep to myself which is the way I have been preferring it recently. I don't want to be part of this world more.

Wow! She should be fired or at least disciplined for this. I am sorry about this Geri. Feel bad for your dog too.

Yep, when the boss is gone … the real character of the workers shines forth - whether kind or cruel.  Fortunately, I don’t see her too often  … last time was actually a year ago a few days before Christmas when my dog had that incident with eating of the rug fibers and couldn’t swallow.

If she was this way to me, perhaps she’s been doing the same with other customers earlier in the day or later after I left?  I rather have some other person file a complaint since there are not too many choices of vet clinics in the area.  It could be worse … my next door neighbor’s Doberman Pinscher died at the hands of another vet office … they “accidentally” gave him double dose on his shots.  🙁    So I’m avoiding THAT place.

Geri — no words! :calvin

So the restrainer is still among us but it feels like the reigns are being loosened just a bit
