A couple of years ago, I was at the doctor's office with a horrible flu. I said: I am sorry to be here and putting you at risk. The doctor smiled and said very confidently: Oh no, I am OK. I have gotten my flu shot. yes, last I heard if you get a vaccine, you are supposed to be protected.
